I am a 4.0... Just moved here from Atlanta. Does anyone want to play sometime? Hopefully we can get something going when dry.

To play a lot in PDX it helps to have access to indoor courts. Most are members of a club.

actually no... the city has a few non private clubs (which is a great option) and despite all of the rain Ive actually played outdoors every month for the past 2 years (since I play every week I do play indoors though). In fact we just had a longish dry spell.

Great 2 month perspective, but in the long haul, although you CAN play every month outdoors, for those with time constraints it is very reasonable to guarantee court availability with indoor accessability. Of course, if you can accomplish that with public indoor courts like Tualatin Hills or the ones next to Benson High, good for you. But many if not most don't go the public route. Or to put it a different way, I can play tonight indoors, no one is going to play tonight outdoors.
