Well like the title says I´ve found a pair of shoes very similar to the famous Nike Vapor 5 at my local shop(that according to what I´ve read in the forum they where used by Federer in 2008 ).

The shoes were this exact same model, sorry i couldnt take a photo myself because i wasnt with my cellphone in that moment... :?

Are they really vapors 5 ??? should i buy a pair ???

Paul - Would you consider helping your fellow TT users out if they have more than a pair in a certain size? I have been trying to find a good pair of shoes and ever since they discontinued the Vapor 6, it's been downhill for me :(.

They look authentic Vapor V, my favorite vapor ever.
They have built-in Air Zoom in the heel which is missing in the current vapor line, and the upper is made of soft synthetic leather, which is not as durable as the hard plasticky upper of VI's, but feels comfortable out of the box and needs no break-in. I will absolutely buy pairs if they are still available in my area. Great finding!

They are Vapor V's- they were the end of year colourway, and I would highly recommend you get a pair!

And, will you share where they / the store are located? After you buy a pair, of course...

The classic Vapor V. I have one more pair left of that colorway. I believe it also had Zoom Air in the forefoot, if I remember correctly...

Yup, without a doubt a classic pair of Nike Air Zoom Vapor V.
To be exact, they were the colourway for Roger at the year ending Shanghai Masters Event, I have a brand new pair like that one sitting on my wardrobe!:)
    Go for it man

That's the best tennis shoe of all time. If I had them around my way, I'd buy 2 pairs.

I went to the store today and they have only size 9

Also went to a Nike Outlet near my University and they have some Vapors V ( size 13) and a pair of black/silver Vapors VI (size 15), but sadly I use size 10...

Not really, the leather they use breaks in nicely around your foot... I've worn mine down to 4" holes on the inner sole before replacing... great shoe

BTW OP where did you find those??

I have these in the white/red/black us open colorway. The best ones IMO, but I have them in a 12.5 and they're too big for me. I think my feet shrank because the shoes I buy now are 11.5 :/ haha
