Not sure if this has been done before, I apologize if it has. Thought it might be interesting. :)

These courts were recently installed at our club, as you can tell from the lack of nets. They are ASI-Court Tournament Pro 16 which are ITF certified.

We also have another 4 older astro-turf courts (the sandy ones) and a plexi-pave court.

I'll take the shady end, thanks! Looks pretty. A shot from the other end would also be nice. Pity about the net.

How do you find the sandy astro-turf courts?

At the local cricket and hockey club they put nets up on the astro-turf when the hockey season is over. Apart from the sand getting in your shoes, it's a pretty nice surface. Shame we only get it for 8 or so weeks a year.

I actually prefer the non-sandy courts. Too much sliding going on.

To the point of being dangerous. Played on astro-sand courts in Manila - never again. I like my ankles and knees.

Is the sand to slow them down? Why not just brush the astro turf so it has more 'bite'?

Nice courts though - love the blue. Need fences to keep the balls from rolling into the adjacent court.

Took about six months to get some courts back, whereas others had sub-surface damage.

When I removed the symbols on the front and back of the link at least the link shows up but not the picture itself. Thank you.[/QUOTE]

I had the same problem posting with Dropbox. Not sure what the story is.
