^^I can't edit my post... Murray's shoes are not from 2009 but rather 2006. I might be wrong though.

Looks so awesome, the way the clay kicks up when they're up in the air. Great pictures!

Shops in Europe already carry the RG version of the Adizero Feathers 2. One (nuts) already has the metallic infrared version.
Both of them have really non-clay soles....reason why I haven't bought them

    Such awesome photography.

I am glad the tournament photographers support our shoe fetishes with close ups like these :)

I'm glad to see Roger wears some washed/worn clothes from time to time. lol I thought he always woke up in the mornings and put on freshly unpacked garments. I need to call Mirka and tell her to turn his shirts inside out before washing them so the logos don't come off so quickly. :p

Also, for the past couple of months, he's been sporting that leather strapped Daytona. Seems he really digs the vitage looks of it. I guess he liked the Daytona more than the Sky-Dweller that Rolex wanted him to like.

And look at that bag of swag! That's nice... all except the shoes. Nike needs to put warranties on those bad boys. lol

They will be mine. Oh yes, they will be mine.

Well, maybe not these per say, hoping for a little orange (like Tsonga's) to match my hat.

How do you get the watermark removed? also how do you get them in a bigger size? Getty images doesn't just provide images of this size for free.

Yeah after 5 titles they didn't have enough space on his shoes to print trophy logos, hehe.

Aren't the images expensive though? Or do people really just want to see the shoes up close?

    what do you mean different?

+ I wanted to ask: does nike and adidas pay something to TV when they show close up of the shoes during the matches?

TV usually shows closeups to show the personlisation on players' shoes. e.g. "nole" or "Petra", which is part of the reason Nike and Adidas are happy to personalise players' shoes for them. They even go out of their way to attract the camera and comments by putting things like "6" on Rafa's shoes or "15" on Roger's blazer. These aren't just ego fillers for the players, they are deliberate marketing tools designed to invite comments and inflame debate, a la Roger's jacket which is still talked about (case in point here).

As you know, there are official ways for them to pay to have their logo on tv, like being an official apparel provider for the event. Adidas is becoming a big proponent of this in Golf and Tennis as a way of getting their brand more air time.

And yet it's still closer to the retail version than any shoe Federer has worn for about 3 years.

I dunno why they do this. If they want to show off their custom PE shoes, at least they should give us an ID option on all shoes.
