well if you have any.
yeah nothign looks broken haha
It plays broken though. I know that much. I brought it back to the store, and asked if I could take the leather off ($$) and he just said keep it .
But it is broken.
if the thread title was written like that on purpose, then I will have to give you some credit, but if it was an accident then you are pure genius.
So here is the story. Have my brand new used Pro Kennex Ki 5 out for doubles. Only the second time I have used it. Looks brand new. Opponent hits a 100+ mph serve at me. I shank it off the tip. Here a loud "Crack!". Everyone stops and says, "Whoa, did you break a string?" I check the string and there are no breaks. "Nope", I say. So we continue on. I play another 4 games but keep hearing this funny clacking sound every time I hit the ball. But we are winning, so who cares. Get to the second set. Another fireball is launched at me and once I again I shank it off the tip. Ki 5 goes limp in my hand. Its broken all the way through the yoke above the handle.
First time in 30+ years of tennis this has happened to me. Since I bought it used, I'm hosed.
BTW, according to many posters here, this type of break is a fairly typical occurence on PK 5g and KI 5 racquets. However, I have a 6 year old 5g that has never failed me, so I'm not so sure.
Hi Zets147 did you see any foam in your broken nsix one tour 90?
yes, there appears to be some foam in the frame. Kinda like yellow fibers, it's hard to explain. It looks like foam (yellow foam at least) though.
Wow Zets you really destroyed you n6.1!
It slipped, I swear!
My mind that is..
yeah I had that in my brocken n 6.1 my friend broke it. j/k
Is there anyone else.
is there anyone else that has a brocken racket that you want to show us.
Let's call Safin to pump up this thread!!
I can't take pics of mine. It broke into bits and pieces so if I do take a picture, it'll be juts a pile of dust. That's how hard I hit.
I threw all mine out, I should start taking pictures though, I am not quite at Safin levels but was not far off for a while. I once broke 3 in one match
