they had them on e bay for about $400 as they were limited edition only sold at the US open. you might get lucky and find a pair if you want them bad enough. i love the roger federer is the man w/the magic racket shirt. i had the hard court specialist shirt but sold it on e bay because it shrunk too much when i washed it.

I was told there were only 25 pair of them made and only sold at the us open. I saw one pair on **** it was about 8 months ago and they ended at $970, they were a size 10 like mine.

great thread! everyone that posted pics has all Nike clothes, how come no one with adidas?

I would post pics but my collection is rather small. I have 7 adidas shirts, and 2 shoes (Barricade IV and V). I also have 2 pairs of "tennis shorts", 1 from adidas and 1 from nike. no big deal...:)

I pretty much only wear adidas while playing. And as you can see, it is all fairly basic stuff.

I look at the computer screen for 8 hours and then go home :)

This MB model is not expensive like the other MB but it's the only one I like because it can be ordered with a manual transmission. I just don't like to drive automatic transmission cars. I feel I have nothing to do.

don't be. this car depreciates like crazy and the dealer charges a lot for maintenance works and it's not as trouble free as other cars.

The only cool thing about it is when I drove it to the SAP Open tournament, they directed me to the MB parking spot which was closer to the entrance :)

I bought a few Fila F-Box shirts when they first came out and a few more before they were sold out. The older ones have larger logos than the later ones.

left (later one) right (older one)

^^^not a bad gal to emulate...after all, the avg. 4.0 or even up to 5.0 guys 1st serve is about the same speed as a wta tour woman's serve...so the games must be similar too. Chrissie has a good all around game. If i played like a wta player it would have to be kuznetsova, my forehand is similar as i follow across my body but my serve looks like boris becker.

i used to copy all the top male pros but that seemed to hinder my development as a tennis player.

one day, i decided to abandon everything and hit the ball the way it came most naturally to me and that's how it came out.
so, I would only copy how some of the top male pros would dress, not how they would hit the ball :)

I got a Pro-T but I don't want to string it because it is brand new.

But that's okay. I have a shirt to match the GTX-Pro racquet :)

    Oh Leelord, I'm disappointed!!!

First of all, there is no comparison between a 4.0 and 5.0 guy. 5.0 guy will blow 4.0 guy off of court.

Second, NO 4.0 guy's serve is going to even come close to a WTA pro serve. You need to go see some in person if you haven't already.

I've returned a 4.0 guy's serve in mixed with no problem. Maybe he was a weak 4.0, I don't know...but there's no way I'm getting a WTA pro serve back.

    ^^You coudn't return my serve! Muahahahahahah :)

But I do agree with you. People on these boards would learn a lot from hitting with a pro/former pro. They would be in for a big shock.

So, you picked the one WTA player that, other than possibly Dementieva, is known for her weak serve.

Also, 'at that time'. Now is a different time. There is a lot more power now, even as you get down in the ranks.

Again, don't take my word for it. Go watch some WTA pros. These 4.0 and 4.5 guys who think they can take a WTA pro are *dreaming*.

    ^^^ I know. I'm a 2.5 :)

I am hitting tomorrow with a girl who is ranked # 4 in the nation in singles. I guarantee, she will beat about 90% of the posters on this forum, and she is nowhere near a pro. Oh, and she will take out any 4.0 and even 4.5 player. Oh, and she hits her serve around the 100 mph mark.

Same goes for the # 4 doubles player I hit with the other day. I believe you and Sup faced her when playing mixed doubles (she was playing with carlos).

i picked Kournikova because I wanted to find the average 1st serve speed of the average WTA player.

Serena Williams, Justine Henin, Maria Sharapova are not the average WTA players. They can serve as fast as some guys on the ATP tour.

Oh yeah...I remember her! Very nice lady...*incredible* player. Lol, I still have nightmares of that match, and Carlos' FH rolling away, away, away...and I run, but never catch up! :)

Think we've hijacked this thread sufficiently? Drak, post some shorts, quick!!!
