Ha, i wish- got a load of free stuff after i sent back a faulty pair of football boots, with this as compensation. Result

Cool, where abouts? I'm down south playing a few things and maybe doing abit of coaching.
I didn't actually get a say in what shorts i got- they're not my favourite, i find the length ok, but the cut is abit too baggy for me, but oh well, beggars can't be choosers

tbh, i wouldn't mind either if the stuff was free(ish)! we're in the north in a place called costa brava, about a half hour in from the french border or two hours away from barca. btw is that credit from football boots from the superfly vapors? cos i heard they had some reliability issues

Yeah, i know it- enjoy, should be very nice!
Nah, from a pair of T90's. I know the old vapors had issues tearing because they were so thin and sometimes the carbon fibre cracked. I managed to somehow shear a stud clean off the sole plate whilst playing

wow, never heard of that happening! i've usually use predators, as i found they were fairly durable and really comfy, but always go for nike for tennis. but even the pred's have this thing where the leather on the toe of the boot comes apart from the sole plate. but might have a look at some nike boots before uni as my last pair of pred's have just split!

It's weird- for Tennis, i've pretty much always been Nike and Football usually Adidas: always loved my preds- went back to F50's after the Nike's died aswell. The soleplate separating is a pain though.
I can't complain too much though- i got them in the sale for £45 but Nike gave me a £115 credit for them. I think it was playing on my Uni's 3g astro pitches that destroyed them

Hey guys, how long to football boots usually last before replacing them.

    Just curious.

depends on how well you look after them, and surfaces you play on. Last season was fairly wet (pretty similar to every other uk football season!) and we play all our matches on grass, meaning boots get completely soaked and covered in mud after every game. if they're not washed, then the boot gets stiff quickly and leather is more likely to crack, and generally boot deteriorates quicker. but i usually wash them and rub this stuff called dubbin in, which kind of protects the leather and helps them last longer. but even so, full match plus at least two, hour and a bit training sessions a week for about 6 months means mine were pretty much gone by new year. with adidas boots, i found the leather on the toe area of the boot pulls away from the sole plate, especially if you drag your toe when passing, shooting etc. but mine also split along the instep, which lead to copious amounts of shoo goo!

Yeap, pretty much the same really- depends on the surface and the material the boots are made from. I've been playing on 3g astro recently which is like real grass, but covered in rubber crumbs. these things destroy leather boots and have a horrid habit of getting caught under the front of the boot where the main connects to the sole plate. So it pretty much depends like tennis shoes, but on average i can usually stretch a season out of a pair

I don't post pics of apparels often nowadays since I have too many ^_^
I got the henley shirt yesterday. I thought the design is very unique but when I wear it, I look like a priest ^_^. whenever top two buttons open and fold collar a little more than usual. the shirt looks good though.
I did not know Henley and last year summer polo colors are exactly same.
I think Fed's Henley shirt has orange buttons like last year summer polo but the retail version buttons are white color.

anyone knows where I can possibly get orange nike tennis buttons?
maybe I should switch with last year polo buttons.

Unfortunately, I've never been tall enough to pull it off. If you saw the pics of my shorts. I have every color of the 9" Sport Shorts and a few of the 10" specialty shorts.
