Whats Big ACe and NRG2 like as a hybrid?
just re-strung this... hated last string job... back to BA 1.25...love this!
I am envious of all of your awesome string jobs
what kind of string is this?
Pro Supex Big Ace
where can i get taht at?
The first 3 racquets I've ever strung. All strung with Forten Nylon Black (For practice) xD
4th/5th Stringjob, with X-One Biphase Red all over. 59# Mains, 63# Crosses.
^^^ Have yet to hit with it yet, freshly done stringjob.
It's almost complete too. Make your racket happy and straighten your strings. They're all frowny.
^^^ Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
Better fix that before I play, don't want to mess up with some frowny-face strings.
Finished fixing the strings in a record time of 2:37!
the black looks sick in those racquets
I think so too hehe xD
Seconded. Or is that thirded? How'd you go stringing for the first time?
These are my first 2 stringjobs.
second best TF setup in the thread
For my next stringjob, I'm getting Big Ace and X-1, both in red. It's going to be awesome...
my next one is going to be full big ace one an ag300. Last time i did it is loved it.
haha im getting red code and x-1. though the x-one will be in natural colour... damn tw sending me the wrong colour x-1!!!
Yeah second best, behind mine that is
These are now strung with X-1 and Pro Red.
did you hybrid them? which one is in mains and which is in crosses?? what tension did you do them at and can you review it??? sorry about all the questions
i love the messy look of your racquets, man i want those lol. seriously
Yeah a hybrid. Red Code in the mains, and they are at 58.
how does it play?
Damn good, or maybe that's just me Haha just joking, I like it, the crosses soften up the red code nicely.
haha awesome. im getting both my t-fight 325s strung up with red code and x-1 hybrid at 58lbs in the mains and 60lbs in the crosses. cant wait to try them.
Hey man,I'm italian and I don't know every word..what do you mean with messy look?
''Messy look'', I feel was a compliment ... a reference to the different colored SPPP, and more likely the RED clay stains on the grip.
Most Americans do not see red clay enough, especially this time of year, so that's kind of impressive and cool to us. At least to me. Last time I came back from playing in Europe, I kept the shoes a month or two longer than normal.
Further, those are really great sticks in that picture. Dunlop has made it back from some darker times, which is nice.
Sidenote: the pattern on your bedspread/duvet seems so Italian or possibly French/continental looking. The equivalent of a Scot with a tartan/plaid?
Tantamount to a South Asian with a paisley or a South Indian with a Madras plaid? A Caribbean with a kokopelli guy? Pat Cash with the chessboard pattern?
Anyway, cool man, take care.
Yeah I felt it was a compliment but I didn't know the meaning!
Anyway, clay courts are beautiful but during winter with rain we don't play so much, especially in Rome as we do not have many indoor courts(in northern italy they have a lot).
Don't you have in US green clay courts?
And yes, those Dunlop are really good stick!
Yeah, we have the gray/green clay mostly, but a few places have a brick red clay too.
Actually, they make a Har-Tru that is reddish now, too. I like it a lot. A friend of a friend has it at his house. Says it is easier to maintain that actual European red clay. One day ... when I retire.....
exact same as mine but your sticks are new and nice and you stenciled it
My sister's stick, an old prince response with gosen ice mains and AG 15g crosses.
I think it would look better, though, if they were black and gold. The red and blue reminds me too much of those dreaded Kansas Jayhawks
Just kidding. It really does look cool.
i think a lot of people probably take pictures when they get the rackets or new string job because theyre probably excited lol.
hey didnt i suggest that string combo in your technifibre string thread? not saying im the reason...
haha..thanks... i wanted white and blue, but I ran out of white Biphase.... and the blue one is CyberPower
My current stick... it plays great!
Here's my Babolat Pure Control Team standard 98" strung with a hybrid of:
Mains - Kirschbaum Competition poly 16L/1.25 at 57 pounds
Crosses - Gosen OG-Sheep Micro synthetic gut 15L/1.35 at 57 pounds
hey noveson do u play with 17?
Yes you did, and yes you were part of the reason for me trying it. Yeah I play with 17 gauge.
do you like it so far? i used to be like you and just hit with pro redcode and nothing else.
yay i got my newly restrung t-fight 325's back today!!! here is a few photos of one of them. both are strung with red code mains, and x-1 biphase crosses in the natural colour.. tw sent me the wrong colour of biphase
yeah man i hit with the same exact as noveson. i like the way your racket looks though. i mean the grey matches the racket as well as the red so in a way its not so bad
That doesn't look like it would be very fun to string. I spent about 10 min. trying to figure out how it was even possible!
Box pattern ftw!
Just strung it last night for a match this afternoon.
VS17 Mains / SPPP 17L Crosses at 48/50 lbs., respectively. Power padded on the throat.
Separate names with a comma.
