Hey cluckcluck, how does L-Tec compare to BHSR?

I got the 285 from TW, I've only had one hit with it and it was rushed. Felt good though, very solid at impact and the spin is incredibly easy to come by. I also liked the 305 a lot, though this one felt like I could get more from it.

Like night and day. The 5s with 3s hybrid is incredible. I am about to start testing the 5s/Os combination.
The L-Tec is equally soft but is playable much longer and I get more bite/feel from the L-Tec.
This of course, is when I use the JET installation.

You should give the L-Tec a try (at a low tension -52lbs)

Yup Paul those are RDS001s MP couldn't resist them when they were out back in 2008.

Power level is acceptable to me. I don't think it's too low but then again it will depend on the string setup but it sure plays a whole lot better after beefing it up to 340g and making it more headlight. Also if you're getting a pair try to get the serial numbers as close as possible. I had mine with a 5g difference between them. Had to make up for the difference by adding some lead tape. This is very common of Wilson frames.

High 5 for having Donnay's. Nice collection, which are your most used?

Cluckcluck, what is your current racquet of choice? I see a few that I like and a few that I want to try.

I tend to fall back on the Donnay Dark Red, it's just a solid frame. Though I will often pick up the Dunlop Bio 200 Lite because I like the feel. Also, the Head Instinct is ultra plush, underpowered but a very clean feeling swing.

Which are you thinking about trying? I can fill you in on what I think.

Definitely the best cosmetics I've ever seen on a racquet, but whats even better is that it plays like a dream.

I would get one if a was just a tad more consistent. Prestige S is more up my alley I think... very nice looking sticks!!! I had a run with a Prestige MP demo and it was pretty awesome. Only reason why I didn't get it was because it was expensive and hard to create topspin. Other than that, great feeling racket if not the BEST feeling one i've ever used.

Did you try out the Pro? The more open string pattern makes it more spin friendly than the MP, that & Another reason why I went with the Pro is that I found it a lot more stable than the MP.

My tennis gear consists of quicksilver and surf brand t-shirts, bermuda shorts(1 inch below the knees), vans tennis shoes, 80s tennis racquets, 80s babolat racquet-shoulder bag, etc.

Truth. It is a very heavy frame, but if that's not a problem for you (MikeHitsHard93) I say give it a go & demo it, but if you don't like heavier racquets I also wouldn't suggest it.

Tell the truth, now. You bought these Prestige Pro's from some stranger in the back parking lot, didn't you? My Prestige Pro IG has a leather grip on it. Yours has a synthetic grip underneath the plastic wrap. ***Fake racket alert, fake racket alert!!!!***

Nah. There's "PRESTIGE pro" written on the corner of the frame, where the cap grommets end.

But no matter. He says they play like a dream, so I guess that's what matters most. Maybe he prefers the playability of counterfeit rackets. Who knows?

They have tennis style shoes at their outlet stores like the "transistor" and a few others. Vans rock.

    What are you talking about?
They both came with leather grips & both came from Tennis Warehouse.

Unless you're blind, you can clearly see the tan leather grip where the white plastic wrap is see through.

I'm pretty sure I know what racquet I use & I definitely could tell if it was counterfeit, but i appreciate the effort anyway.

Clearly, you don't know the definition of "clearly." You're thinking of "clear." Clearly doesn't mean transparent.

It's not as clear to those who aren't familiar with the packaging of the Prestige. I bought mine used.

Haha. Not once did I use the word "clearly" as in "transparent"
I meant it as you can obviously see the leather grip from the picture.
