well snap now you gotta post pic of the rest of the cave!
Lets see the bar!
probably not, unfortunately
i found a racquet Hammer Tour with those specs and at only 70 bucks and they kind of looked alike. that's why I asked
About a month.
You're welcome anyway.
Nice APD
Very nice^ are those dunlops underneath? Maybe a couple of 300 tours?
Hotmelt 200G...95sqin head, 18x20 string pattern.
i like the fxp radicals more!
Those rackets served me well for six years.
I have a few of those.... you up for handing them over?
They're in awful condition, but they are my back-ups, sorry.
so they are just back ups?
You should see mine..... One is on injured reserve while I wait for grommets... It was almost thrown out, its that bad.
I use mine as back-ups....
My first choice list
1-3 Bio max 200G
4,5 HM 200G
6,7 Rebel 98
9 Wilson H Tour
All of my others I wouldn't consider using in tournament play.... I wouldn't really use anything after 8 unless I had to. 1-8 are all leaded to very similar specs.
The Radicals? They are as of today, since my APD got here .
Here's my next years supply of rackets...
^^Gonna lead them?
Possibly I'll be matching my PSL non gt specs. The SW is 350ish @ 12.7oz. It's a bit much for what I need though. If anything I'll be doing a higher SW at a lower weight. Ideally I'd be at around 360SW at like 12.4oz. Now that I have enough sticks I can definitely play around with lead set ups!
yes! the sheets! haha
what do you think of the rebel 98?
radical to apd. radical indeed!
It's not complete but here's the rest of the man cave (pink Wii controller hidden). As you can see I'm going with the Star Wars theme with a bit of Robotech and Watchmen thrown in.
What we're currently serving
holy cow!!!!!!!!! pink wii and robotech? email me your address i will be right over!
taking a longer look, you even have that flip table thing built in to get in and out. how did you do that?
man you remind me back in the day watching macross plus. i even bought robotech for the nintendo gamecube!
A heavy duty, full length hinge and a stopper built into the wall for the counter top to rest on.
I still want a full size Han Solo in Carbonite, two more pieces of Star Wars art and a mini fridge. Currently I have to keep my beer in a fridge in the garage. The humanity!
dude that is f*cking awesome. so you can just buy a hinge at the hardware store and screw it in? what material is the counter top?
i was never a star wars guy sorry. but the stuff you have is neat!
When they took Robotech off the air (I was in the fourth grade) I went door to door in my neighborhood getting signatures for a petition. Robotech meant so much to me growing up and I blame Rick Hunter for my wishy-washy-ness and penchant for older women (Lisa Hayes!)
One of the highlights of my fatherhood career is taking my son to the LA premier of the Shadow Chronicles and waiting in line with the rest of the fans and interacting with people like us. Then Tony Oliver (Rick Hunter) came out and visited with us and spoke at length with my son. The movie was so-so but the vibe and the camaraderie were unforgettable.
Wow, that mancave looks nice! I like what you did for the flipping table. Very clean. Just wondering, do you string racquets in that corner next to the TV? Or do you move it to an open space?
what? theres not enough room in the corner man
wow. too bad you are in LA. if i am there we gotta go hit and hang out
Damn right. Where do you call home?
very nice. i posted one of yvegeny's 03 tour earlier this summer. yours looks similar.
Yeah i know, thats why i was asking.
If it were up to the missus I would be stuck in the corner but I put those discs on the bottom of the legs and I slide the Neos out so I can watch TV.
i am all the way on east coast, DC. random question but have you ever met ryan gosling out there?
Oh ok. Still in the search for a good cart with locking wheels that wont break on me like my previous 2. >.<
That's a beauty. I love the shape of that frame. My buddy had two of those or something very similar (some type of Prince Pro Stock) and they made a believer out of me.
My wife wishes.
What kind of machine?
i have alway wanted to visit paris. and then LA is on my list too. i have a friend from san diego. is the vibe that much different in LA?
Winn Pro 2, there should be a thread somewhere on the stringing section. Picked it up for $150 since my old one broke.
As of right now, im just using card board below the stringer. It slides well on laminate floors.
Those padded discs that you put on the bottom of chairs so they slide more easily work great on my Neos.
San Diego is one of my favorite places to hang out. I go to Comic-Con every year for work and love every second of it. San Diego is so much more laid back than LA and it's more of a natural fit for me though I've since moved outside of LA city where it's a little more kick back.
