The TXP and Prestige Pro is the exact same racquet. Just different paint.

It's actually very closely related to the Wilson Pro Staff Midsize.

Dino, have to ask - you have such a large, varied and comprehensive collection - which frame is your favorite?

    Thanks!

My favorite? That's a very hard question, and I don't think I could pick just one (on the other hand the one I have used the most for the last year or so is the Head Radical Tour 630 ( 1998 ). So here's my top-12, in no particular order :

    Rossignol FGC
Puma Davis Cup (From the Super mold)
    Fischer Vacuum Elliptic Pro
    Head PT630
    Head PC600
    Head Radical Tour 630 ( 1998 )
    Yonex Super-RD Tour 90
    Yonex RD-7
    Donnay Pro Ceramic
    Donnay Pro International
    Dunlop Max400i
    Völkl C10 Comp Mid

These are based from a playing point of view, but there are of course many others that are special to me like a couple of pro stocks.

I recently picked up a Boris Becker Super - is it very different to your Puma? What do you like about it? I am looking forward to hitting with it. Do you know what the screw is good for?

Any chance you can do a mini-review of the F3.0 Tour? Compare it to the P1 even? In a different thread of course!

I will post a pic as soon as I back from vacation, racket is being strung meanwhile. And I am looking forward to testing it, though grip size is one too big for me.

Here's a link to a wonderful website, where the PCS system (the screw) is explained:

    http://www.80s-tennis.com/pages/puma.html

I also have the Super (and Winner), and I really like those racquets too. It seems to me that the Davis Cup I have is slightly lighter and swings a little lighter too. But as I said, the Super is a great racquet.

That reminds me. I just fell in DEEP love with the Gamma RZR 100 while demoing it out. With the DOZENS of racquets i was trying out that day, the only one that stuck out was the Gamma RZR 100...... If only i checked what string it was strung with.

This one is the 98t. i playtested the black racket(prototype). notice that the swingweight was high, but it suits me well since i like rackets with a very high swingweight. my ps 6.1 90 and k90 have a swingweight of 350s.

    ^Very nice.

How do those donnay's hit for you?

I demo'd a bunch ~ year ago. Found them eerily similar to some older pro staff mids but with less feel. A bit too muted, damp. Could have been the demo strings.

Thanks! Love the Donnay's! Very old school feel but faster through the air. I string them very loose (well the Gold is new to me and will be re-strung at 30lbs) and they work fantastic for me. No shock to the arm or wrist.

I'm not giving up the vintage Princes but the Donnay's are my main players now.

What are your go-to sticks? Always looking out for new racquet thrills!

    v-verb,

Nice collection you have there. how do the non-POG princes compare to the POG in terms of feel?

Never tried Donnay, but it seems from your comments that I should add them to the list!
