Sweet pickup Kal! I had heard these were floating around and have always wished my Tours were a bit more flexy.

Have you been doing anything with the Silver Rough? I have been using it lately in place of the Solinco Green. Curious to see how what you think of the Silver matches up with my thoughts.

heading out for the night... anyone ever order a Bjorn Borg tequilla shot at the bar? :)

if not here is how it goes. you need salt, tequilla, and a lime
    1) snort the salt
    2) take the tequilla shot
    3) throw the lime in the air and serve it at your bartender...

    always a good one

No one is angry; it just seems you have a lot of gear, and good gear on the top of that.

I went down to a 1/2 grip actually just recently.

All the flex point and liquid metals are paintjob pt57a. All 4matched and all 4 and 1/2 grip. Look closely you can see the flex point holes and the Liquid metal is just painted k. There not really there.

The microgels are tgk283.1 matched to the same specs and grip size

haha thanks man. i love the old school head PJ

I think the glossy PJ Pro Ones Blake Molds are some of the best looking rackets I've held too. The quality of the PJ there is beautiful IMO

So starting from the left to right, Head Flexpoint heat (My friend has left me this racket one day to look after and well he just stopped playing tennis so i guess its mine, kinda a piece of crap, hasn't been restrung in god knows how long, feels like hitting with a plank of wood, Wilson Ncode 95 (Justine Henin's racket or painjob lol back in 2005-2006, Wilson nsixone 95 NCODE 2005-2006, Babolat Aero Pro Drive GT 2011 model, Babalot Pure Drive GT 2012 model, Wilson k tour team fx, 2009, bought this cause it didn't look too bad and was on sale, had no idea it was 102 square inches though and its a little too light (290 grams strungweight) the girlfriend now uses it though, Prince 03 Speedport pro white, 2009-2010, bought it and within a week the strings broke and i have never had it restrung before, but will definitely soon, apparently its a very comforting frame and i have arm pains

I've also thrown away 3 rackets since 2008, and they were, Babolat NS Drive (I'd be amazed if anyone has heard of this one), Head liquidmetal prestige (the one safin used in 2004-2005 and lastly a cheap old Prince racket which was my very first one i bought in 2005

    Good.

THough with the kevlar, the poly, and the dense pattern I am betting it doesnt feel or play like 25lbs.

Honestly I want to try lower, like 15.

The racket though doesnt like the low tensions. It get weird vibes. Every racket has a lower tension where this happens. 23 was dreadful with the same string combo. though it played ok it felt horrible.

Went to 32/27 today with Kev/Monogut zx and it didnt have that vibe issue nearly as much.

yep, they sure are. 1 POG 110 4 stripes, 2 POG 90 4 stripes. The 2x 90 I picked up when i swung by TW one time. They were sitting on the shelf by their lonesome needing a home.

I love Solinco as a brand - I use Tour Bite and their overgrips regularly.

TB dies somewhat abruptly though; it's not like balls start spraying or anything and you simply lose control. Forget to restring and you really feel it in your arm.
