apart from the nadal top.....
it all matches though!
the yellow/orange/red theme!
NOOOO...how canyou use both the APDC and AS?! Just pick one already!! jk, but seriously though. HOw do you hit with both or which is your stick of choice?
I used to use the APDC but switched over to the AS a few months ago. My game has improved a ton and the slightly higher SW and increased flex/control is really making a difference.
I've kept the APDC just because... It's not worth much to sell as a ton of used ones are on the market and my gf likes to use it...
Nothing cosmic...just a growing number of GTs
Here's my stuff, finally
Just curious which ones you find yourself using more, the Roddick or non Roddick PDs?
Roddick, I like the extra swing weight and stiffness. It's just enough to be noticeable. I just starting switching over to the Roddick after playing the regular GTs for almost a year now (April '09)...
$130 Canadian is hard to resist!
Nice pickup by mikethehampster!
Who paid the other half?
Two pictures of my new weapon:
Is your name Roger?
no, but they seem to make pretty good racquets for that guy
Am I blind or are 2 (the ones on the outside, with the head pointing towards the right side of the picture) of these rackets not strung properly ??
why do u say that
^^^ Those two are a different racket (with different string pattern) than the one in the middle
Because that racquet should be a 16x20 string pattern...not 16x19.
No they are not. They are just an older generation of the same racket...I should know, I own 3 of them. The two which are similar are the MSpeed Pro no 1, and the one in the middle is the "MPro no 1" (or whatever they called it) which is basically a paintjob of the MSpeed with a slightly different grip shape/buttcap.
You are right, they were also 16x20 but I only count 19 crosses!
Here's a reply:
I cannot see the photos attached because my office's firewall prevents me from doing so.
Anyway, I'm assuming you're referring to the two M Speed Pro # 1 and the M Pro #1 in the middle. If that is the case then the M Speed's are the 105 version which is 16x19 and the M Pro is the 98 version which is 16x20.
Hope that helps.
goran_ace is correct. The two M Speeds are 105 square inches (16x19) and the M Pro is 98 (16x20). A little optical illusion.
AHA ! ! ! Couldn't really tell from the photos that they were the 105's. Maybe if all 3 would have been pointing in the same direction one could tell by comparing directly but as it is...it's tough to see. Thanks for the clarification.
Where did you buy them? I'm looking to buy some more.
My lifetime supply of Dunlop M-Fil 200 18x20 sticks.
What's up with the butt caps on these rackets? They're rather bulky...
I've always built them up like that. For whatever reason, it helps me keep a loose but secure grip on the stick...
Good-looking Dunlop Tennis Rackets including three Brand New ones. By the way, thanks for recommending me a prince sharp oversize racket to start learning tennis since Dec, 2009. I purchased the racket in Jan, 2010 and now I love this racket. Thanks. -Tina
Appreciate it, Tina. Glad to hear that the Shark is working out for you, and best of luck out on the court.
Interesting, what do you build them up with?
I use about 3/4 of a discarded overgrip pulled just taut, which keeps the end from getting too hard on the hand and is quite comfortable. I used to use hockey tape, but the end felt too much like the knob of a bat.
Top: Fischer M Pro No. 1 98
Bottom: Fischer Black Granite No. 1
My "tennis room" (part of my home office)
Drawer of string - About 70% K-Gut, Bab Gut, Lux (Adrenaline/ALU Power/ALU Rough) and 30% various other strings.
Bin on top of the drawer for reels
One of my 4D AG100's I was gettin' ready to string
I would kill for that awesome set up you have, i want that machine and i want your organization. I'm still stuck using the multiple box set ups. Man i need to get some drawers.
Nice setup! Hopefully, I'll have my own minor league version of this room one of these days...
Get rid of your bed
Chezbeeno- maybe I'm blind but I can't tell what your BLX's are...
def not tours.
looks like an 18x 20 BLX 95
with some luxilon
yeah they're the 95 18x20's strung with a full bed of Luxilon ALU Power Rough, although these pictures were taken awhile ago, now I have Adrenaline 17g in the mains
also sorry for the picture quality, they're kind of blurry, I took them with digital macro and apparently macro looks extremely blurry when the pics are blown up
some of the head racquets i'm using currently
Just strung the two YTs yesterday. Alu Power/Og sheep on one and full blue gear on other. Can't wait to try them out today.
Try Full BAM in one of the Youteks. Very Great Success
Comes in handy when I want to unleash a world of hurt on someone.
Wow, never seen anything like this before...
