    hey pcmacino,

could you compare the fit between the Babolat Propulse 2, CB 1.3 and Vapor VI? I wear the PP2's in a size 12. I really want to get myself some CB's and/or Vapors, but it's hard to find a store around here to try them out. The spot I have trouble with most shoes in the toebox. I like a little room to wiggle. I hate shoes that seem to jam my little toe. I don't want an extremely wide fit, but a bit or space for my little toe. any info would help.thanks.

Sure, I wear a half size smaller in both Nikes. So in the PP2s I wear a 10 1/2 and in the Nikes I wear a 10. The CB1.3s are a little wider than than the Vapor VIs, but I wouldn't say either are a narrow shoe. I don't have narrow feet, but have no complaints with any of them in the toe box. Now the PP1s did tend to pinch me in the box (on the pinky toe side) every now and then.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks. I did try both my Babolat shoes in a .5 size smaller, but then went up and that made a good difference. I'm hoping I will be able to fit in the Nike shoes. I'm heading to an Factory store later to try some on and see how they fit. It helped, just gives me a reference point. obviously everyone is different, but any little info is appreciated.

just picked these up today for $59 at the nikefactory store. they're actually a sample pair. no difference to the actual ones at all, just some fancy insoles.

    Just got my 2.3's!

They fit about the same as the 1.3's, maybe a little snugger, and they are NOTICEABLY lighter.

They look really sweet in the shadow...a little bit of a smokey look...so go 1/2 size smaller?

I got my 2.3s and actually played on them today for an hour or so. WAY lighter feeling than the 1.3s, VERY comfortable, and VERY STABLE (especially in the heel and ankle)...

...and yes sizing was the same as the 1.3s so order them a 1/2 size smaller.

They felt like butter right out of the box. I was really impressed and don't care for my 3 week old vapor VIs at the moment (compared to the 2.3s). ....quickness of a Propulse 2/Vapor, Stability of a Propulse 2/CB1.3 and cushion of a 1.3.

The 2.3 will be a benchmark shoe IMO

I didn't go a half-size smaller when I ordered my 1.3's, which were a little bit big, so I think going with your regular size for the 2.3's (and a half up from the 1.3's) would be the best fit.

Good to hear. Yeah, I have the CB 1.3 and boy it was slowing my game down during the winter break. Even if I play indoor, didn't make much difference at all. I've decided to stick with my Vapor IVs if I want to play a fast pace game.

I have the Vapor VI, but I don't wear to play tennis though. But I like Vapor IV out of all the ones I got.

So I hear, you play in Newcastle eh? Good to know there's other tennis-minds alike around here.

Why not? It beats any tennis shoe in terms of comfort, ventilation and originality. Since Rafa's style is all about the bright colors, I wouldn't see any problems for him to rock these! Heck it's way easier on his knees! ; )

Are the CB2.3s softer than the older version? I got blisters on the top of my pinky toe because the shoe was so stiff in the top it wouldn't bend, it would just rub up on my toes and cause all heck!

Do you like em so far?

I really like them, they are a lot lighter than the previous ones, it does need some break in period, might be different of different people though. Have you tried wearing more cushioned socks? Soemtimes i have problems with them when i only wear one pear of socks, but when i double sock its perfect, so im going to go out and actually buy cushioned nike socks. But back to the shoes, it is really nice so far, I play very roughly on hard court and it keeps me comfortable and makes me look cool haha.

so that's volt yellow? this is so darn confusing. arg! i keep trying to get me the color for the sunny polo. that one on your shoes seems to be the same, but I keep getting that the sunny polo is green mist and electrolime. I just don't know which it is: volt yellow or eclectrolime. then again I thought volt was from his French open gear.

Right on! I think they really sweet in person. The texture finish on the "leather triangles doesn't really show up in the photos, and is a nice detail.

So are these the new non-marking black sole cleats? Bet they are pretty good on clay. [IMG]

Oh I know...it's such a great shoe and Nike made fantastic changes to the 2.3s. They are noticeably lighter and I like that change the most I think.

How long have you had them and are these the clay version of the 1.3's.
Also are the dimples coming off covered under the 6 month warranty?

The new CB 2.3 haven't tis problem, and... I think that the guarantee is for the outsole, not for the upper.
