that's the reason I got two even if I have many warranty replacement shoes.
I think I will be able to claim warranties both shoes within 6 months.

So, I was eager to come on here and be happy along with the recent poster about getting a pair of Nadal's Wimbledon 1.3s (for $51.00 shipped from a Nike outlet). I was so excited.

But then I tried on the shoes.

Darn size 10! "True to size," people have said recently. I know the suggestion is to go down 1/2 a size, but more and more people seem to be disagreeing with it. So I bought the 10 and they are about a 1/2 size too big. Gorgeous shoes though.

I wanted to love them.

    Cheers.....

I had a same situation like you. Actually, I tried my normal size (7.5) at local store and I thought I could wear true size. unfortunately, they did not have size 7. I almost order 7.5 from nike website but I trusted reviews and order size 7. as soon as I wore the shoes, I felt tight but when I tried second times, I was much comfortable.

Well, you're lucky that you were able to get a smaller size. I called Nike tonight and, if their numbers are correct, there are no more 9.5s at any Nike Outlets. I guess I will have to just drive the 1 hour to the closest Nike Outlet (that never has any decent tennis stuff) and return them. I am on the hunt for more $40 high level Nikes!

    **Sigh**

    Cheers!

yeah, the 1.3s stretch out a little to accommodate for your feet. With all my 1.3s, I went a half size down.

Agree. actually I bought 4 vapors without thinking of durability then when I tried first vapor, I was shocked that the durability was very poor. fortunately, I did not pay much for those Vapors. Vapors have good looking though:)

So how do the cc genius fit? If I wear a 9.5 in CB 1.3s then what size would be good for me? How do you guys like this shoe?

I hated the CC Genius, it is far too narrow and stiff. From what I have heard the CB 1.3 accomodates a wider foot so imo the CC Genius would be too narrow for you, but try them on before you buy, I wish I had (thankfully I managed to sell my pair though)

even though I did not pay full prices, I don't think I will buy the vapor again.
Recently, I passed $42 vapor VI deal because of durability issue. even I was shocked myself that I just passed it :):) but I think I made a right decision. I got CB1.3 for $65 from Nike website a week ago and tried today. much better shoes for the durability.

no! I've seen that shoes for a while from various Nike factory stores.
that's sample shoes from nike. I believe either sample for retail stores or proto type. I heard that nike only makes sample shoes for size between 9-11.
$21.97 is good price though.(Actually, I can see the sample tag from your second pic)

I got my CB's in a 10. PERFECT for my size. I just had to snatch them up. Anyone know the difference between Samples and actual retail shoes of Nike? I have purchased samples in the past but never really understood the difference.

I wear 7.5 size shoes for Barricade, Vapors and prince, I thought about ordering CB 1.3 7.5 size but last min, I trusted reviewers and ordered 7 size.
I tried the shoes today and it fits well.

For some reason all of the sample shoes I've seen have been yellow in color. If not slightly yellow, I saw a few pairs at a factory store but didn't want yellow ones. Nonetheless a good deal

those are probably fakes. it makes total sense and no sense. no sense because you got them at a nike outlet. total sense for two reasons. one is because most normal nike shoes don't get that discoloration, and they usually have the two bubble of max air on the inside. the second is because you got them at a nike outlet store. sometimes companies put shoes that have been made incorrectly in an outlet store. that shoe probably had some issue while being made with the rubber for the upper, and somehow that foam around the max air was molded incorrectly, so nike sent it to an outlet store.

The tongue area is different too.

The real ones have cloth above the leather by the tongue.
