Those shoes bring back good times. Even though they are completely destroyed, I still keep my USO night V6.

They are the Shanghai WTF limited edition Adidas Barricade 5 (red) which the guys wore in 2008! My brother got them for me at the time... I think Djoker wore them and Tsonga! They also came in black! I should post some closer pics of them as there is a dragon embroidered on the side and printed on the bottom!

Thanks for the info. And thanks in advance if you decide to post pictures. I need some red kicks for tennis other than the propulse 3s!

So you must have two left feet....
anyway, I was wondering what's up with your 2K10's? Did you buy them with the black heel?

I painted the heel and the rear part black. The original shoes had too much white space and I just wanted to fill it in with some color to see how it turns out.

Well, I can say it turned out quite well as far as I can see from the picture. Does your paint last, and what kind of paint did you use?

I used an oil-based paint marker. These can be found at any art supply stores. I recently customized the white/blue breathe cage with a silver paint marker. Turned out really well.

As you can see there is a massive mess up with the 1.3s... all of the little bead things on the inside fell out on the right kick

yeah and the left one too, I think. There's no negative effect to losing those dimple things on the 1.3's, is there? Mine have yet to fall off yet.
Always loved that yellow colorway for the 1.3's!

Yeah I really like the colorway too... umm i mean they probably make them a little less stronger in that particular area where the dimple things fall out but I think it looks weird too... i dunno not that bad I saw one guy who plucked them out to spell his name

Creative guy, guess he got too fed up with no NikeID for tennis shoes...With his first name on the left, last on the right shoe?
Thought it'd be cool once they started to fall out to just take all of them out except leaving the ones that have the swoosh painted on. Sorta rethinking that one though....

Oh yeah! about half of these shoes are warranty or super sale shoes, for example I got the CB 1.3's for $20 at a nike outlet, and the Lime 2.3's from warranty.

Indeed they are! haha I almost feel bad for using them for a tennis season this year cuz they almost have a hole in them already. I don't wear them for tennis anymore and they're still cool and attract a lot of looks from people.

Here they are - the best-looking tennis shoes of all time. The adidas Equipment Feathers, circa 2000 (I think).

The B6 is a much stiffer shoe, but with more durability and support. The 2K10 is a lot lighter. Both are comfortable. Depends on what are you looking for.

Thanks, how does the Barricade feel compared to the 2k10s after break in? I've worn them before break in and they were WAY too stiff and clunky compared to the 2k10s right out of the box. Do the barricades become as comfortable? I like the cushioning and weight of the 2k10s but it really lacks support, my arches after a couple hours.

What are the asics on the right hand side? They look a bit like the cumulus 12 but I'm not sure.

Saw these on the bay and had to get them. I didn't get them back in 2009, but since Djoker is #1...

Yep - Those are my running shoes. Probably the most comfortable shoes I own and I would play tennis in them but the soles would get destroyed in less than a month.

I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't get them cheap. Worth a try for me I guess. As long as I get some wear out of them, even if it's for non-tennis, I'm satisfied.

Just got a pair of the blue Vapor 8s. Not a bad price either - on sale at £59.99. Used the White V7s on the clay in Spain, and they were really good. Lightweight and comfortable which was perfect for the clay, and durability wasn't a problem so they held up well. Just breaking the V8s in now, and found them quite a bit stiffer than the older 7s; found the upper is similar to the V6s, although they are wider than the 6s. My 2.3s are wearing surprisingly quickly, and have several 'bald spots' after only roughly 15 hours. But they should be ok for a while longer.
