I really love the Aus Open Blue ones...I tracked them down in a Nike Factory store in summer '06.

I will post mine sometime next week once my Federer FO 2009 Vapor Vi's arrive. I also have the blue/black Vapor 3's as above but they are weathered due to frequent use from their prime time :)

I look forward to seeing your FO Vapor VI's, I love those shoes. Hopefully I can get some for myself sometime.

I was lucky to find them in my size on the Bay recently. The shoes are all about history and the style is quite nice too. I'll be sure to show you before I start using them. Which size do you wear? If I find any listed in the future I'll try to let you know.

I wear a 12.5, which can unfortunately be a tricky size to find. But I appreciate you!

So what do you guys do with so many pairs of shoes ? Do you play in all of them ? or just collect them and watch.

Personally I use mine. Unfortunately in my younger years I was too silly to look after my blue vapor speed 3's and they are in average shape now, but still very useful for occasional play. Now I have 4 new pairs of CB's and 2 Vapors and I wear them out regularly (tennis and social) but also care for their condition.

I've played in every pair that I have, except for two pairs:

1.) My grass white/gold Vapor IV's (Haven't had a chance to play on grass yet)

2.) My 2nd pair of Oscillates (I'm still using the 1st pair)

Yea, i made a mistake of buying that old NIKE Air Flare, Agassi wore to win that US open. It looked so pretty, i just kept it in the box and didn't play in them. Now it is no longer the premium shoe that it used to be. Not sure what to do with it now.

Is this the 1994 US Open where he had the radical wig thing happening? Or 1999?

2x CB 3.3 ($30 NFO) These require alot breaking-in by hand and on-court
2x Court Mo IV ($20 NFO) These are a Poorman's Vapors and great for long walks on the beach. :)

I've noticed slight bump on on the forefeet near where 3 parts join together on my 2x CB 3.3.

Anyone have any luck finding Nike Vapor 8 for way cheaper than $69.99?

^^^^ great shoes, will probably pick a pair up now that my 3.3's are all worn out, using the voucher lol
I have to say, I wouldve liked the shoes a lot more of they didnt outline the swoosh in black and just left it all white... a lot more nice and subtle, but oh well

mind posting some pics when they come in? I missed out on the chance of using my other vouchers to get the blue/green 4.3's (overnight nike.com ran out of like 6 different sizes... wtf?) and am super bummed, but really considering buying blue/green retail and using voucher to get grey/peach, but would like to see live pic first
    thanks!

Will do, if only Nike shipping wasn't 7 days long...

A buddy has them and the scarlet fires, and the peach colors are GORGEOUS.

I would go with the peach ones.

The V9 soles look pretty thin especially at the heel like you could wear them out in no time.

He's either a Nike employee or knows one.

...I'll be getting mine soon... from the Nike Employee Store (if they have them).

I have exact same issue as you. The 8s were not wide enough at the upper part. The 9s are mucho better, cos of the adaptive fit.

Here's my collection so far (only started tennis last Aug - have been using my CB 3.1 for last 10 months so they're pretty beat up). Got these beauties which hopefully will see me through the next 12-18 months.

I just got the peach ones today and wore them to play in. First shoe I can honestly say I never once felt it was brand new. Instant break in for me. They look really good in my opinion too. The right balance of classic look, with a splash of unique color you don't often see.
