    Right place at the right time. They were listed on **** last year, and in Australia. Won a fierce bidding war. No way I was losing that day :)

    Got my new Babolat Jets last weekend. Only have about two hours in them but very impressive so far. Crazy how light they are.

    Those look awesome. Wish TW carried them. You must be sponsored by Babolat...I read that only a few were given out.

    Super impressed with the 2.3s... What a sweet looking pair... are they Nadal's actual shoes or were they released in small batch back in 2010????? Could you post more pics?

    New shoes arrived today :) Went up to an 11 from my normal 10.5 (usually wear wider 10.5's) Fit is pretty good, but will probably wear em around a bit for the right shoe to loosen up a tad.

    Just got these in the mail earlier today, brand new and got them for a steal off ****. First shoes I've tried other than the CB 4.3's and I'm beyond excited. They feel great!!! Currently contemplating whether to wear them or stock them for another 10 years. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Loved the Air Max Breathe Free 3s... such a comfortable shoe... second best to the 2.3 Court ballistecs. Wear those puppies, don't let them collect dust.

    It was because of my stupidity. :( Left it at my doorstep after coming home very tired from some night tennis, and then I forgot to take them in before crashing for the night. It was gone the next morning.

    What's the name of these shoes? I still have a beat up pair from 10 years ago.

    Thirteen pairs of tennis shoes. What am I missing here? I own three at any given time - one for clay (these last a long time), one for hard courts, and a backup for hard courts (they don't last very long). Is it a collection thing? Do they serve different purposes? Do they match different kits? I'm just curious regarding the rationale - I'm not judging (in this instance, at least).

    Collecting, plus the fact you can rotate them means much greater longevity. Also yes they do match different kits, but mixing and matching them is easy as Nike follows similar colour codes over numerous years.

    The biggest thing for me is just having quality shoes that are comfortable. None of the current Nike models fit me that well due to the fact that I have wide feet. The older models fit me perfectly so every time I see a pair of 4.3's or anything else that catches my attention, I buy them. It gives me great peace of mind knowing I'll have new pairs to fall back on for 3-5 years.

    Those are my first pair of the Air Zoom Vapor Speeds, worn by Federer/Nadal/Hewitt at the Aus Open in 2005.

    You can see they are a bit worse for wear. I did everything in them for years. Luckily I have a couple of backup pairs which are mint :)

    These are basketball shoes. Nike Air Flight '89 Retro Re-Release. I think you can still get them on the auction site and online Basketball stores.

    Bought the New Balance 996v2 clay late march because of my slightly wide forefoot; wanted to try it out. Fit is good, durability of the sole is good. Played for 6 weeks on clay;

    Awesome pair, missed out on the bid on the auction site

    Reece, thanks. I remember seeing that pair forever and just kept it on my watch list. It would have been nice to see the transition from that pair to the current silo
