From experience, but with running shoes not tennis shoes where the bubble went after about 8 months but only about 20-25 hours or so of wear.

As Kim says, as an ethical matter, if the CBs have had lots of wear I would not return them outside of the 6 mos warranty.

Ok so I had a pair of Babolat PROPULSE 3 that is much much worse than these shoes above. Too bad I didn't take any pictures before I sent them out. The worn area is about 1-1.5 inches longer and wider. I can actually stick my finger through the hole but I was denied my 6 months warranty. It cost me $10.00 to ship the shoes and I also had to send $9.95 along with the shoes (still not sure what happened to my $9.95)

Here was an email I received back from Babolat. I also sent my shoes within 6 months period from the date of purchase. No more Babolat for me.

    Product: PROPULSE 3 GREY/GREEN, SIZE 10.5
    Dear Valued Customer,
We have recently received your product for warranty evaluation. After a thorough assessment, we have determined that your claim was not due to a manufacturer’s defect and we are returning the denied product to you. The reasons for denial are:

The warranty only covers 6 months from the purchase date.

Babolat is committed to the highest standards of quality. To qualify for the 6 Month Durability Warranty, the outsole must be completely worn through, to the extent that the insole is exposed through the bottom of the shoe, or the toe guard worn through, exposing a hole to the inside of the shoe within 6 months of purchase. Babolat reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine if the conditions of this warranty are met. We thank you for your purchase and for supporting Babolat.

    Sincerely,
    Babolat USA Warranty Department

Pic doesn't work, try using image shack or another image server/site.

This one is tough. There is no hole but outsole is completely worn out.
I might say "No" since I don't see any hole but that shoes is a little dangerous to continue to use. One time I almost twist my anckle with worn out shoes...

That's what I was thinking too. Doesn't look they would send a replacement. At the same time it's not wise to keep playing in these. I wonder how one can put a hole in the sole without first getting to the point that there is no tread left on the shoes.

I put one more hour on them. Can I send them now? I hope yes, I really don't want to play in these anymore!

    I think they're done. I'm
sending them back. Don't think it's safe
    to play in them anymore.

Superb shoes I have to say. I have more
than 15 pairs of different type of shoes and these
stood out (that explains me wearing them out first).
Let's see how Wilson honors their outsole warranty.

I just got my replacement shoe from adidas!
Sadly I asked for Murray's AO 2013 black/yellow shoes but got Murray's USO 2012 instead... not a bad pair of shoes but wished they honored my request...
but I did notice that they left another warranty card in the box! can I do the warranty again?
    thanks!

No. Adidas has strict rules regarding on the warranty claim.
Also warranty card does not mean anything. Actually the warranty card does not require for warranty claims.
Adidas send whatever shoes they have in sizes.

That is surprising. I had no issues with Babolat (or Adidas, NB, Asics or Nike). A little odd the way they worded the rejection. Did you beat the 6 month deadline?

The Nikes I just sent in were less worn than those Barricades I posted pics of that you quoted. They were worn through to the the sole though, if only barely. Its usually not enough to wear just the tread off. You must wear completely through the exterior tread, and under the layer that is of similar material, regardless of color, and into the "cushion" part of the sole. The texture of the material you need to get to is different and softer than the outsole regardless of the shoe make.

I just reread before posting and you state you could stick your finger through! All I can think of is you somehow missed the 6 month cut-off? Did you include a dated receipt in the box? You didn't by any chance try to claim a 3rd pair off an already warrantied shoe did you? Too bad on the rejection...just don't understand it...would like to though.

The other day as I was playing in my Courtballistec 4.3's it seems like a bubble formed in the heal. Has anyone else had this problem? Now when I wear them it feels like I'm constantly stepping on something. Will this qualify for the warranty?

Yes I sent in within 6 months deadline and this was my first attempt to use my clam with this warranty. They also kept my shipping and handling fee of $9.95 (money order) and never response to my emails why they kept the fee. I have another pair in red that completely worn through after 4 months but I just threw them out. I am very disappointed with Babolat and will never buy their products again.
Just bought 2 pairs of Asics Gel Resolution 4 and loving them.

Yes. You can claim your warranty.
Barricades need more toe protection and CB need more heel protection.
Maybe Adidas and nike should collaborate together to make half barricade and half CB then The shoes can be the most durable shoes in history hahaha.

Alright, thanks. And maybe someone can make the Power Gel Vallicade Tour. That would be the best shoe ever... Gel Res 4/5's, Vapor 9's, Ballistecs 4.3, Power Cushion 308's, and B7's all in one. Can't wait...

Just got my replacement pair. It took about 3 and 1/2 weeks. I sent in the black/white standard colorway, asked for the silver, and they sent me the white/black. But hey, can't complain, $125 shoe for only the cost of shipping.

My CB 4.3's are ready for warranty. Toe is completely bald and there's about an inch long sliver of midsole showing. But the thing is- I've only had them for about a month. Will nike ask questions if I send them now? And also-- I bought them from the Miami tournament and I think I lost the guarantee card. Can I send them in without it? Thank you

Nope, Nike will take them as long as you have the receipt. I sent my CB 3.3s in after just 25 hours with a hole to my socks.

I sent my Barricade 6.0 on 4/26 using Prioritiy mail. Today, I got a Fedex package. New Barricade 7.0 was inside the box! :) It just took a week. I never expected that they would ship the replacement this soon.

Above all stores, I prefer TW by a LONG mile!

Maybe I shouldn't even disclose this, but I've just got a replacement for my CB 4.3 after just one small bald spot on my right foot (to the site at the toes area, no big deal and certainly not completely bald, nor showing any midsole).

I shall never bother with Adidas and Nike directly (as I did in the past).

Can Courtballistec 4.3's be sent back if the bubble pops? The bottoms are slick as well but have not been broken through completely.

Your shoes were exposed white form which is midsole so you are fine.
Can't believe that you wore the shoes that long. Very dangerous.
You could stop use the shoes as soon as you see midsole.

They should be accepted IMO. Dang, you ate through the part just next to high-wear area like it's some kind of butter. Only the outter part of the high-wear area is "fine". For how many hours have you been playing with those?

I've had them since mid February and my playing time is pretty random from 7 days a Week for several hours a day to 1 day a week so I cant really calculate the time I have on them and I slide only on the right side though so the left shoe is just bald I never really noticed a major difference though until this past week when a layer of pollen or Dust was on the court and I was sleeping really bad

Sorry if this has been covered. Do both shoes have to be worn through or just one? My right shoe (Air Max Cage) is worn down to midsole and is dangerously slick, but my left still has little ways to go. Thanks

you don't need to have holes in both side of shoes. As long as midsole (form) is exposed, either side is okay to claim the warranty.
