Before I turn in my shoes, they usually have a huge hole where my big toe can be stuck out. LMAO.
Will TW give a replacement pair of worn out LBs? Or must I send them back to Nike? thanks
Bought a pair of LBs off of nike.com and sent em in for a claim to nike. I am aware if i buy a new pair of LBs through the credit given from my claim i will not receive another warranty on that pair. Can I buy a pair of LBs off of tennis warehouse and still send em back to nike for a claim and get another 165 credit claim ? I plan to buy apparel with my claim credit instead.
I realize this thread is massive, but if you scroll through a few pages, you'll see that this has been answered many times. Essentially:
If you send your Nike shoes back to TW, they will replace them with the same model (or similar if no longer available), or give you a store credit for the price you paid.
If you send them to Nike, you will receive a Nike voucher for the full retail price, regardless if what you paid. So, going through Nike is the best deal, unless you paid full retail price, in which case, its "6 of one, half dozen of the other".
thanks buddy. I thought so just wanted to make sure.
If Fed return to world #1,and nike release a limited edition shoes, am I able to purchase it with voucher?
Yes, you can claim warranty only if you purchase it with cash, not with the voucher they sent you.
Got a replacement pair on Monday. 2 weeks TAT. It is however a Pair of White/Black Barricade V's. Seems that there's no predictability on what one may end up with.
Has anyone ever returned shoes to nike bought with a 6 month warranty claim credit? For some reason, all the nike staff I have spoken to says that the pair you get with the voucher will still have a 6 month warranty.
Barricade 7s after 4 months of hard court usage. First time ever cashing in on a 6 month warranty.. never had a pair before that had one
Anyone has had any experience with Fila shoes. I read
this on their guarantee card:
"To qualify a replacement pair will be granted if the outsole is completely worn through exposing the interior of the shoe.
Exposure of different colored outsole or midsole material does not meet replacement guidelines of the durability guarantee"
Similar issue was raised in this forum regarding Lotto shoes (post # 1036).
Is this really true? They won't honor the guarantee unless not just the midsole, but the inside of the shoe is exposed?!!
Is there a distinction as to what qualifies if the shoes are sent back to TW vs. Fila itself?
Bought these adidas Barricade 7.0 shoes from TW on 4/28/2104. Stupidly, they've been on the shelf for a few months and now I'm past the 6-month period. I'll submit anyway, explaining that he's since worn out another pair (post below; shipping to adidas together). Crossing my fingers.
I'm not very confident adidas will replace these. What do you think?
These soles don't have the typical multiple layers of shoes we've had/returned in the past. That exposed area is not nearly as hard as the sole...it's quite soft. Will they honor the guarantee in this condition?
Wilson Pro Rush
I sent these in on Oct. 27 and received a new pair today also in Wht/Red! https://www.flickr.com/photos/90844178@N02/sets/72157648817548857/
Looks good to me. You've worn into the midsole material, as long as it's not another layer of hard outsole rubber, you have worn through. Perhaps they didn't use different colored layers like other shoes sometimes do.
They replaced them. But they didn't honor my size request and provided lesser shoes. More:
Seems like they r runnig out of 8's to send out. If I send in a pair of barricade 8's later this month, what do you think I would get back?
you should expecting to get the barricade 5 classics from this point. I received mines from them when i sent my ND barricadesing
I bought a pair of Cages from a Nike outlet for 45$. They're going to be through the warranty easily before 6 months. Would Nike do a voucher for what I paid or value of the shoe?
does the box have the voucher in the box? if it does, it works
Same goes for amazon?
Yes box had voucher and kept receipt. Question is for what value would the discount be. I'd like to use it on the Cage 2 when they drop...
they would give you what retail value of those cages. once they approved the warrenty, they would send you $115 voucher for you
I'll second this. I've bought outlet shoes and received voucher for full credit.
The only pitfall is some of the outlet boxes don't have the voucher included. Good that you found a pair that had them.
Hi. Can someone please tell me if my shoes are ready to be sent back to Adidas. My warranty is over at the end of this month so I'm hoping to get them sent back before the holidays. Thanks in advance!
IMO, no. The sole is covered, not the toes. Your soles aren't even close.
Has anyone here returned their Adidas back to TW for sole warranty and have TW honor the warranty? I read here that TW requires that you send your shoes back to Adidas directly. So you pay for shipping both ways when dealing with Adidas directly.
I have a friend who bought Adidas Barricades 8 shoes recently from TW and he said TW told him he can send it back to TW for sole warranty. I told him I heard otherwise (TW takes back all brands except Adidas, in which case you must send back to Adidas directly). So he called TW on the spot and said the guy on the other line at TW asked another guy and said no problem, he can send it back to them.
This perplexed me so I asked TW in the other forum (TW questions/comments) and Britanny from TW said Adidas shoes must be returned to Adidas. I was told the same thing before by TW on the phone as well. Meanwhile, my friend was perplexed, too, so he said he called TW a few more times after his conversation with me, and each time he was assured by TW that he can return his Barricades back to TW for sole warranty.
So that's why I'm asking if anyone here ever return their Barricades back to TW for sole warranty and it was honored?
If returned to TW, you can use their free return shipping label and I believe they ship you a new pair with free shipping. When dealing with Adidas, I think you pay for shipping back and include a $13 check to cover the shipping cost back to you. So it makes about a $26 difference when shipped to Adidas directly.
Just wanted to update you on this. I contacted both TW and Adidas and they both said my shoes were ready to be sent back! Thanks to everyone who replied.
Hey people, I was wondering if my shoes will get accepted to be replaced. Is it good to go? The pictures are a little blurry though.
My Cages, 4 months in am I there? (Sorry for big pics posting from phone.)
It doesn't look like you've worn through to the soft midsole, so I don't think so. In my experience you either need to wear through to the midsole or wear a hole completely through the toe area.
Thank you have a few hit set up this week squeeky footwork should do the trick. Haha.
I've been out of the shoe-warranty game for a little while. I have a pair of Lunar Ballistecs and I've worn through the portion of the outsole that wraps up in the front of the toe area, exposing the toe guard plastic underneath, I think last time I sent shoes in, Nike accepted this, any thoughts?
When in doubt... Send us pics
has anyone had any experience claiming shoe warranty with Diadoras?
do they need to be shipped to TW or the manufacturer? do they really need to be worn all thru to the insole?
@ae11 never had a experience with Diadoras, Does the box have a warranty card when you bought the shoe? if not, you can give TW a call and ask if you have to ship your shoes through them.
Is Adidas still still sending back the 5's for warranty shoes? I've been a buying the Nole 7s and thus far they have been giving me the Barricade V (5) as warranty replacements.
Are you guys primarily hard court players?
A buddy just got a pair of white Barricade 2015s as a replacement for his white/red/blue Novak Barricade 7s
Yes. There is almost no way you'll burn through a sole on clay or grass in 6 months, which is why I use my replacement shoes during the summer months when I'm predominately on clay (almost all manufacturers disallow claims on replacement shoes).
That's good to know, thanks much! I'm not a big fan of the V's or 8's but the 2015's look like they are more similar to the 7's.
Really hoping this picture will work...this will qualify, right?
No. It's not a part of outsole.
Shoes warranty is outsole warranty. Not entire part of shoes.
But the black outsole come up and guards the toe, does that part not count? I wasn't referring to the hole I'm starting to wear in the actual orange toe guard, just the part where I've worn through the black rubber to the orange plastic underneath.
Exactly, Nike will shut down the warranty program because of BS like that.
I've sent Air Max Cages back that had similar wear and they were replaced:
Just out of curiosity, how do the bottoms look?
I have a crack in the sole of my 2-month old Barricade 7's due to the wear and tear. It is not a full blown hole, but the rubber area is very clearly cracked any will only get worse. Will this count for the guaranty? Sorry, don't know how to post pics or else I would.
Does this pair qualify for the outsole warranty? Thanks.
Sorry, didn't get the figure in
