I feel the same, man. LOVE the shoes, but the durability is crap. I've had mine less than a month, and I'm probably a week away from putting a hole in the toe already. My sole looks a little worn but intact, and would probably last a few months, but I'm a bad toe dragger and it's just eaten up in no time.

Why do you complain about durability? Use the 6 month durability guaranty warranty. Doesn't that mean you get each shoe for pretty much $50 each? I wouldn't complain :p

If it took me 6 months to wear them out, then I wouldn't say a word. But 3 weeks? That's just ridiculous, and frankly unacceptable from a shoe that costs that much. Absolutely I'll cash in on my warranty. But I'll still probably have to buy ANOTHER pair before the initial 6 months is even up. I'm 19 and not exactly made of money that I can just buy $100+ tennis shoes left and right. So yeah, I'm complaining about durability.

Yep, that must be the solution.

I've never worn out a pair in less than 6 months. This was quite an anomaly to me, so I'm voicing my displeasure about it. I'll post pics later or my babolats because there is now a giant hole on the right toe, and I'll be sending them off far sooner than I had hoped.

Normally, you trade off weight for durability. That's why 2k10's and vapors don't have durability guarantees. Just get a heavy shoe like CB3.3 or Barricade 6.

After about 5 months of wear on the B6. I am getting ready to ship them in sometimes this week and was wondering if anybody could comment on the colorway that Adidas replaces discontinued shoes with.

Just a quick follow up, these were accepted by Nike and I got my voucher. So it really doesn't take much to get the claim.

Does TennisWarehouse replace shoes with 6-months guarantees if you buy the shoe from them? For example, a pair of Barricade 6s?

If it's adidas, you got to go through adidas. It really depends on the shoe brand:

I sent in my Babolat Propulse 2s. I forgot to take a pic to post but they were clearly worn through after 5 months. I'm hard on shoes...I've had Barricades and New Balance both replaced under warranty with plenty of time to spare. I will say the Babs were impressive in that they still didn't slip even though clearly worn out and through. They were not overall as comfortable as my NB though...very stable but not as comfortable.

When I went to fill out the warranty card...btw...$9.95 plus shipping to them is what it costs...I noticed the shoes are U.S. 11.5 and the TW receipt shows U.S. 11.0! It got me a little worried they might declined based on suspicion they are not the shoes bought 5 months ago.

My question. Has anyone else had Bab 2s sent from TW in a 1/2 size larger than ordered? I read reviews noting they ran 1/2 size small and wonder if TW automatically sends 1/2 size larger...seems very odd. The shoes fit me fine so I never even looked at the tag. If so did you have any issues when it came warranty time?

Well hats off to Babolat. Not only did I get my replacements amazingly fast...1 week turnaround...but I got the $109 Propulse 3s instead of the now $69 2s (I paid $89) in a colorway I like better than my originals. They gave me size 11.5 in white/silver/black.

I haven't played with them yet but they feel pretty good. A touch lighter and a bit less "clunky". They look a little less vented in the back half, maybe a bit more or the same in the front half. Not narrow at all which is good for me. Granted I usually wear size 11 and these are 11.5.

I had the same experience, I originally bought the red pp3's and requested white ones for my warranty trade in. received it in a week just like you did. Its a shame I wont be purchasing another pair of babolats though, shoes just arent as stable as barricades or vapors

About the colors of the replacement shoe, I've always left a little note in the box when I send back my shoes with the Color I want and the shoe size.

    It's worked every time! :)

Would companies accept shoes for warranty if they receive the shoes a few days after the 6 month mark?

It depends on the company I think. I called Nike and asked them before I sent my shoe in and they said as long as the claim is filed before the 6 month period its fine. Maybe they check the date the postage was paid for?

Nike CB 3.3 Maze Versity color

    Hi all

i asked a friend who once sent in his shoes to Nike for the warranty claim and he told me that Nike told him this:

wearing through the white layer is still not good enough. That layer has to have a perforation into the shoe insert. When you take out the insert you can see light through, that will guarantee a replacement. That was what they told me.

what i have is a pair of Maz/Varsity (yellow and white and black ) CB 3.3.

i worn through the black rubber, under that is a layer of another black layer, i worn through that too, now the white foamy part showed up and that part stretch out 2" long.

according to my friend, that is not good enough for a replacement/waaranty.

actually mine looks just like this one in the toe area (first picture)

I did not have any problem with warranties. I posted several pics of it here and all warranties were granted. Your linked pictures are good enough for the warranty. I don't think Nike suddenly changed their policy.
Also it will be very controversial because the warranty is for 6 month outsole guarantee. if outsole is worn before 6 months, It should be granted. white form or black form is midsole.

Pinkskunk, a lot of people sent in their CB 3.3 shoes when they wore it out to the white, foamy part. It seemed like there wasn't a problem. In fact, I am sending in my 3.3's and they look similar to the picture in the link you have. If your shoes are like that, you will have no problems.

thanks you for that. i will send my pair in to Nike later in 1 or 3 weeks because i like the shoes and i still have 3 months to go before the 6 months expires. the shoes top/mesh part look practically new......

i am actually excited about the process :) because i will get a brand new pair later as a free replacement.

oh btw, only the left shoes has that worn, the right shoes is worn but the white part is not shown yet, do both shoes hes to show? or one shoe is good enough?

Go back to the first page haha. You can see several pics of my shoes which I claimed the warranty and I got either new pair or replacement.
Usually I worn out right shoe heel area first for CB and left side does not show or barely show white midsole. Does not really matter you worn out only one side or both.
Once I tried to wear both side completely then I rolled my anckle for the first time. Since then I don't try to wear shoes which shows midsole.

BTW. You will get a voucher from Nike not new pair of shoes.
