Those look good to be sent in.
djNEiGht, I'd prefer to see more wear on the sole of the shoe especially on the inner forefoot area, but your edges are torn up and are ready to be redeemed.
i'll work on it
the lateral part of the left shoe was worn down pretty far. it's weird because i favor my left leg fr my surgeries.
Oops forgot to take a picture, sent a pair of my 2.3 in this morning at the 5 month mark. Hole in outside of heal on right foot. Left forefoot and outside heal was very close too. Great shoes and got comfier and comfier but wearing a new pair I've noticed grip had subsided.
I can fit my entire finger through a hole underneath my right big toe... and left shoe is almost there now. Sending them in today!
This is the first pair of Asics I've ever had. They are the Gel Revolution 3, and I have just finished the 5th month since I've had them. I plan to send them in for warranty replacement on Monday:
With Nike, if I wear a hole completely through the outsole rubber and into the midsole foam like I have on the left shoe, I've always gotten a replacement (or voucher card). I hope that Asics is the same.
Jack, when I sent my GR's into TW, I got a replacement pair.
I just finished my first ever run through the Barricade 6s. It took me about 3 months. Do you know if I can send them in and get the 7s in return? Thanks in advance
You could leave a little note in the box...
At this point, they are selling both, so, unless you specifically ask, they will replace them with the B6.
So far, every time I sent the warranty claim to Adidas, I put a note in the box with the requested color and always got what I asked for...
good luck asking for a change in shoe. i would hold onto sending them in till the 6 month mark. if they don't have any in your size then you most likely get the new model.
Just had my warranty on white/grey CB 2.3s approved by Nike. 5 months old, hole in outside of heel. Approving this has ensured I'll remain a Nike tennis shoe buyer.
These are my purple CC Genius II's that I just sent in. They had a bit of life left in them, but I got tired of wearing them and have other shoes that wont give me blisters. I asked for a pair of Barricade 7's a half size smaller for a replacement. Hopefully adidas is awesome and gives me some
yes it should apply
well you are just stupid i would have sent them back as soon as holes started to appear
Not even close they arent even worn down at all.
those shoes wear out very quickly when holes start to appear haha. I have a squarish part showing when I wear through those shoes and by that time they're just too uncomfortable to wear anymore anyways so I send them in. Maybe his were still comfortable for a while even after holes appeared.
how on the earth you can do that in 3 weeks??? pl send some tips
you are kidding me if you are playing in them any serious tennis... not worth it since any visit to physio cost $60 per hour in case of serious injury...
IMO it is normal wear and tear. I had a same issue when I was a way younger. I was playing on hard courts and had to buy a new pair every month.
Do you guys claim warranty on your broken strings too, even after few weeks of hard hitting?
Going to send my Adidas Barricade 6s back soon.
was it a 6month deal?
no,he clearly said it was a manufacturing defect lol
sliding kills
^Don't know how that embed didn't work. Last try with imageshack:
Lim what shoe is that?
Does it count if there is a hole on the front of the shoe where the outsole meets the forefoot?
So I sent my size 11 CC Genius II's (that I got for $50) back to adidas after they got some holes in them, and I put a note in the box asking if I could have a pair of size 10.5 White/Black Barricade 7's as a replacement. I called yesterday and my shoes are on the way, Hopefully I get what I asked for, and at worst, I get some kind of old barricade 6 or maybe even some feathers. I'll post back tomorrow when my shoes arrive. Kinda excited to see what's gonna be in the box
Aww, well I tried, but still good! I got some White/Black Barricade 6.0's in size 10.5! I'm pretty happy with that
Nike Air Ecue. Reminded me of breathes, so I thought I'd try to put them to use. Plus, I got them for pretty cheap.
Wonder when they r going to be done distributing the 6.0 and start shipping out some 7.0 replacements.
Probably not for another month, I bet they have a ton of 6.0's left in stock
No I bet they already are if you buy a 7 you get a seven. I know people who sent them back already for a warranty pair. They have not recieved the replacement though.
Oh yeah, that would make sense, man that's a very fast time to wear out a shoe!
True but people are still getting replacement 6's for their 6's. Anyway, let me know what your friends end up getting back.
One got back barricade sevens but he asked for blue and they gave him the black which was the same one he purchased. Probably b/c they are new.
Just about a month of wear on the white/blue 3.3's. I don't think this qualifies as a hole, but it kind of looks like it. Shoes are still mostly white still and still very wearable. I Just wanted to know if this is anywhere close to a hole in these 3.3's?
^^ You have a ways to go at that rate 2 more months!
Dang, these things are just as durable as I expected hopefully they start feeling somewhat lighter, because man, they feel way heavier than any other shoe I've ever worn!
Thinking about sending these back to Tennis Warehouse to use the warranty, I ordered on 9/14/11 good enough? Thank you!
looks like a barricade with down syndrome
No RETURN THEM! My friend looks exactly like yours and his were returned with NO Problem.
What he means to say is that you can return them. There really isn't a need to yet because it is such a small hole, but you could essentially claim the warranty right now. Mine were a lot more worn down on the soles, but after you burn through the rubber you'll see the white-ish color underneath. If you've got a few months still, keep using them, they will last a lot longer. However, if you're like me and like to claim your warranty ASAP to get another pair, send them in now.
Thanks lol I think I'll use them as practice shoes for a while until they become uncomfortable to wear, but as of now, they're still pretty level and wearable. When that one spot gets too low and my foot is like rolling inside, that's when it's just too much for me to handle. I don't have any other shoes to work on for warranty right now anyways so I might as well get the most out of these. besides, the spring season is just about to start. I'll save my nice light New Balances for match play.
My Barricade 6s wore out in exactly the same places!
It is worn down past the outer sole
No, I think it's actually still at the outsole area, because there is a white layer under the grey rubber. It's the same as getting down to the black rubber on the other white/black/yellow 3.3's
New balance mc 851 received 1/12/12. Slipped and fell on my left hip and elbow after serving
one reason never wear such worn out shoes... injury treatment cost is pretty high compare to new shoes.. not worth the hassle
