Power Pads where can u buy them

    I am interested in buy power pades for my racquet. First where can I buy them and second do they change the feel at all.

    look for a old leather belt and that is your lifetime supply of power pads.

    Any pro shop thats worth anything has them. I have used them before from wood to graphite and have noticed nothing.

    The primary purpose of a power pad (a msinomer, by the way) is to ease the stress on the string, especially gut, on the old woodies. It reduces the angle therefore decreasing the chance that the string will pop or cut into the wood.

    I use them on the Pure Drive at the 4/5 throat grommet transition when stringing gut to reduce the stress of the sharp angle.
