Pre-US Open hard court season is just 3 weeks?

    ... and most pros just play the last 2 weeks? This is crazy. Has it always been like this? So basically most players havent had competitive tennis in the past month?

    US Open Series started in Indy, then LA, then DC, so it's been 3 weeks now. Just some guys either choose to play the post Wimby CC tourneys (Davydenko, Ferrer, Mathieu, Simon to name a few) or rest up for the 2 MS events before the USO (Fed, Nadal, Murray, Djokovic)

    There are 6 pre USO HC tourneys-Indy, LA, DC, Canada, Cincy, and New Haven. Just that most guys choose to only play the 2 MS events.
