The Canadiens traded Halak to the Blues. :-|
Well, one of either Halak or Price had to leave.
I'm slightly surprised it was Halak, especially to St. Louis.
I dont know if they had to leave but it was obvious it was gonna happen. They rode Halak all playoff long and almost made the Stanley Cup Finals with him. The year before in the same seed with Price in goal they got dominated in the first round. It makes no sense but whatever I hate them anyways. Bunch of cheap shotting jerks.
True, they were both due new contracts though, which would of been a stuggle. I believe Plekanec is also due a new contract and a raise, maybe they wanted to leave themselves with some cap space to keep him.
Hockey is crazy with the contracts and people switching teams. Nobody is ever in the same city for very long. Its getting crazy with the way the cap is set. We are in the same boat in Boston with the two goalies thing but the one we want to trade has a no trade claus and wont wave it to easily.
Funny thing was Tim Thomas was supposed to get traded to Philly but they didnt pull the trigger and then they lost to Chicago with bad goal tending. That was a little funny side note this year.
There is no rage comparable to when Gretzky was traded. Everything else is a minor bah!
what's a canadian?
Dedans you were so great in the Jolly thread but that is just not cool. Two girls kissing great two guys not so great.
 Good parody. Man, those were some chauvinistic ads.
