Prestige Anniversary edition

    A while ago I saw a discussion about Prestige anniversary edition coming out in January. Is it still true? Can anyone confirm this? I couldn't find the thread.

    Why would this new Prestige Anniversary not be made in Austria and finished in Czech like the current line? Why the talk of Chinese production?

    Because HEAD has stopped manufacturing racquets for the consumer in Austria and Czech Republic. The Prestige Classic 600 that TW have are supposed to be the last racquets made for the consumer in Austria. All HEAD racquets for the consumer are now outsourced to China. Even the Agassi Limited Edition Radical Trisys 260 that TW has is outsourced to China. While the Original Radical Trisys 260 from 1993 was Made in Austria.

    FYI HEAD still produces a significant number of racquets in Austria for the players on tour about 50,000 racquets. They are Prestige Classic 600, Pro Tour 630, and LM Instinct.

    Thanks, vsbabolat and we discussed it somewhere else as well. People from here spoke to Head dealers and got some confirmations. So, I guess nobody expects anything good from Head :(

    I'm still trying to collect all the variations of this classic line. Accepting offers :)))
