    I was just wondering
Does it cost more to have a hybrid set of strings done by a stringer? A seperate string for the mains and crosses. I just wanted to give this set up a try. Any recomendations? Thanks

Price is likely to be (Price for full racquet stringing of mains + Price for full racquet pricing of crosses)/2

I don't charge people more for hybrids. I'd say nearly half the stringjobs I do are hybrids now. Plus, I keep several poly's and synthetic guts on reels, so I can cut off what I need.

Common practice around here is that you pay for both sets of string, and you get to keep the other half, provided you are trying to string two half sets out of 2 full sets. If it's off a reel, no extra charge.

With the popularity of hybirds, fewer stringers should charge extra. If you want an exotic combo made up of strings that they don't have reels of, they may want you to string two frames at the same time. If you let us know what you are looking for out of the set-up, I'm sure people will have setups for you to try.
