I might have found my next stringer.

Prince is letting me use their Prince 5000. The mounting system is similar to my Neos and the tension head has similar features as my 2086 but man is the overall operation smooth, not to mention the cool green light.

The cost is around $3400. Just checking to see how it compares to other high end stringers like the Technifibre & Babolat especially considering that it cost much less than both (I have already seen the reviews on GSS).

Prince 5000 or Babolat Star 5

Babolat Star 5 is better value. Better clamps, better frame support, 4 point calibration.

Re: Star 5, how does the circular track for the clamps work? Any real-world difference over linear tracking, dual action clamps?

I prefer the elliptical track. It's a little easier to move around. The Alpha Equinox has this feature as well.

If by elliptical track, you mean the curved track for the clamps, then I believe the SP Opus has those as well.

If you mean something else, then I am an idiot, and you can disregard. :)

    Thanks.
