Thought I would share...
Nice photos Superman
This part of the forum has been lacking photos lately, so the more the merrier!
I like the Prince CTS line.
A tennis buddy of mine still uses the CTS Precision 90 as his main frame......can't believe 22 years have passed since those frames came out!
I have a 4 5/8 Precision 90 in really great shape. Might your buddy be interested?
I'll mention it to him, but I know he's got three frames at the moment. Knowing him he might be good for now.
OK, thanks much.
The big Swede Magnus Larsson used the CTS Precision 90 in the early 90's.
yes he did didnt he replace it with cts lightning before moving to wilson?
i have got one of these rackets there nice.
wow CTS precision was my first stick! brings back the memories.
mine was an OS though.
I had no idea ANY proefessional used this frame. Huh. Learn something new everyday...
As far as him switching to the CTS Lightning... wasn't it the first of the double bridge designs? I think Jennifer Cappriati used the Lightning, right?
Capriati did use the CTS Lighting 90. I recall seeing some lead tape under the bumperguard on her frames. One of her first big endorsement deals. She used that when turning pro and leaving the Wilson PS85.
The Prince Graphtech DB precluded the CTS Lightning in using the double bridge design. It also came in 90 and 110 versions. I have the 110 and one that's labeled Oversize as Prince changed their labeling of the frames. 90 and 110 became Midplus and Oversize for the Graphtech and previous CTS lines. The Midplus moniker was used for the CTS Synergy line but those were actually 97 sq. in. heads.
Thanks for the info, VGP.
Unfortunately, I actually have this one up for auction. TOO many racquets around and I'm having to sell some off to make room for the ones I can't help but buy.
I am sure you understand.
I still have and OS i'm looking to part with.
Nice stick for sure
anyone know the specs of the precision OS?
Me too! Mine was the 90, and I have not found anything that I like as much. I don't know what it was about that frame, but I hardly missed any shots when I got into a groove.
I did not realize he played with the Precision. Cool!
Great pics in this thread. Thought I'd revisit it and share some recent pics of mine....
....thrift store scores at $4 and $2. I love the sparkly purple!
