Prince Graphite First Came Out in 1977?

    Yes, it did come out in 1977 and it is still doing a very fine job. Gradually as the years elapsed, they started adding bumper guards and changing cosmetics.
    Here are the cosmetic changes:
    1970s 1G: Prince(one side) Graphite(otherside), green and black only, no bumper guard

    1980s 2G: the four green pinstripes with gold ones at 3 and 9 o'clock position

    Late '80s to mid '90s 3G: Changed the headsize name from 110 to 107 and discontinued when the Chang came out.

    Late '90s to 2000 4G: One green stripe, one gold stripe big "Prince" on one side and "Straight Shaft" on other

    5G: Nothing special, it says "Tour" on one side and "Prince" on the other like the Diablo and the NXG

    For some guys who do not know, they also came in a 125 in2. size.
