I have the MP version. I know there is a voluminous thread on the POG's, but rather than sift through all those pages, can someone recommend a Poly/SG combo that is elbow friendly for this very open string (14X18) racquet? I have very old PSG and was looking to replace with a more modern setup. Would a full bed of multi work or does the string pattern require a Poly?

Is there such a thing as an arm-friendly poly string? :?

I played this model with full beds of multi; it was great. This racquet does have a reputation as a string eater, by virtue of its super-open pattern. Great racquet, though - very relevant today, and probably better than most anything on the market currently.

Thanks Retro. I play mostly with multi also. I happened to pull out this classic and wanted to try something that would max its potential, yet be somewhat arm friendly.

I use Prince SynGut Multi in my Graphite IIs.

Feels crispier than Sensation, seems to suit it quite well.
