Clean with Alcohol. Lube with CLP Break Free or Teflon (PTFE) oil.

Have you enjoyed it ? Doesn't look like there is much to maintain. I bought a NEOS 1000 that should arrive tomorrow and I'm excited to try it out. I have been wanting to get away from a dropweight and so far I really haven't worried about using glide bar clamps. The last few tournaments I've been to there has been a NEOS in the shop and they still keep cranking out rackets.

A little grease on the pivot points, inside the clamps is a good idea. Prince recommeds this, and will help extend the life of the clamps by reducing wear. Just a little, applied with a toothpick.

Does anyone clean the tension track? how? It is very hard to clean to get the best result.
I have used alcohol but very hard to see result. This is compare to the glide bar track. After I clean the glide bar track and finish it with few drops of 3 in 1 oil, glide bar glide through with no resistance at all. I heard the tension head (with no string) should able to move without much resistance as well, is that true?

^^ I've had I eyes on a star 5 for a while now, just have not been able to buy one. I definitely string enough for one.

btw, I was at a club about 2 hours away from where I live, saw a star 4, amazing:)

The Star 5 is supposed to remind you to clean the clamps every 50 rackets or so. I clean my clamps every 20-25 rackets and usually get the message after I've already cleaned them.

As an IT guy, the first acronym I learned on the job was RTFM before you ask questions. Kinda stuck with me. I most certainly wouldn't overdo maintenance as you can mess your machine up.

Well, I shouldn't say that I string enough for one, just really want one! But I string depending on the day about 3-6 racquets a day.
