Prince O3 Tour final

Today my son attended Prince O3 demo junior event in Boca Raton, FL and hit 40 min with final version O3 Tour (he is currently using NXG Tour 100).
O3 Tour is 27 in, 100 sq in, 310 g (10.9 oz) unstrung, 11.5 oz strung.
Power level is 800. String pattern 16x18. Beam is about 18 mm.
Very fast and powerful frame, a little light.
The last five minutes he used another frame built-up by 6 grams (at 9 and 3) with special, new Prince string. It felt much better and was more solid.
They say Coria uses the same frame with just more added weight.

Today in Pro Tennis World Open ATP Challenger tournament in Sunrise, FL (pre NASDAQ 100 event) in quarterfinal Davide Sanguinetti was using O3 Tour and beat Alberto Martin 6/2, 6/2. Excellent touch and control, totally effortless.

FWIW, my O3 Tour is 332 grams strung, 31.4 cm balance. Don't know if this makes a difference, but mine also has the retail graphics, as opposed to the "Experimental" graphics.

Can anyone comment upon the stiffness of the O3 Tour? I like the specs I've read, very close to my current racquet, but I also have to go easy on my 55 year-old shoulder and elbow. I try not to use frames much over 60 in stiffness. My current Mitt Xtreme racquet is rated at 58. Mitt is now out of business, and I am looking for a replacement. Thank you.

Hi ssulzer, from what we know so far the O3 Tour will be kinda stiff.

Check out discussion this thread

Thanks for the link, Alex. It looks as if the Tour will indeed be on the stiff side. I have an O3 Red to demo tomorrow, Stiffness 68. I will find out firsthand if my arm can handle it. It will probably be too powerful for me, but it will give me a feel for how well the O ports work. The rocker panels on my Mitt Extreme do allow for greater feel and give it an enlarged sweetspot. Can the O ports deliver?
