Has anybody tried these?
On my 2nd pair now.
I've tried them. I like them better than the Prince Viper V mid. Both shoes have roomy toeboxes, which I like. I found both shoes to have decent cushioning, decent traction, and decent stability. The reason I like the Scream better is because the shoe's toe is rounder than the Viper's. The Viper V has an oblong toe that I could not get used to wearing. Due to the difference in toe shape, the Scream feels less clunky than the Viper V to me. I think the Scream has a good outsole. On average, I play on hard courts 3 times a week during the summer and 2 times a week during the rest of the year. The Scream 3 Mid lasted me about a year before the treads started to wear smooth. I had to change the insoles once during that time for continued cushioning. After the outsoles got smooth enough that I thought I needed a new pair of shoes, I ordered a 2nd pair of the Scream 3 Mid. I've been playing in those shoes for about 6 months, and they've been holding up well. The one thing I'd change about the Scream 3 Mid is the height of the ankle collar. I wish it were just a little higher to provide more ankle support.
