I had tennis elbow would like to use this string is it easy on the arm. What else would you use to get more spin that is soft? I am using the yonex 880 soft but feel I dont get enough top I tried the 850 spin and felt it did not have enough power.

The general rule is that the string has very little impact on spin. The Topspin plus is the non duraflex string so it is not too harsh on your arm.

You might want to try a gut string. It is the most arm friendly string available. If you hybrid with a syn. gut, it greatly reduces the price. I returned to gut last summer, best thing I have done for my arm.

Good Luck

I have it but don't like it that much, I have the new Prince Synthetic strings.

Topspin Plus is a decent string for the money and is not too stiff like its Duraflex counterpart.

Prince Topspin 16 is rather easy on the arm and rather punishing on the wallet. (It is typically bought by some one wanting spin -- does't do that much for spin -- and who hits reasonably hard, that is, a person who will find its durability lacking.)

It's aimed at people with slow swing speeds. If you have a fast swing speed, it won't give you anymore spin than any other string... plus, you'll break it.

I don't know that Topspin is aimed at slow swing speeds. If so, that has missed the target many a time. Slow swingers aren't necessarily looking for topspin. Faster swingers are looking for topspin so that they can keep the ball in the court.

You're right. I meant to say medium speed swings, instead of slow. The point is, strings with texturized surfaces are for people who swing fast enough to send the ball long, but not fast enough to be able to generate enough spin.
