Pro backhand

    Does anyone know if there has ever been a pro the has a onehanded backhand with the thumb horizontal along the handle, as if they were hitchhicking, instead of wrapped around? And why don't pros do it that way? There has to be a reason, cause The Man Fed wraps it around.

    because you're supposed to grip the racquet tightly.

    i dont know man,im embarrased to say but i do that one my 1hbh and i been trying to break myself but i cant stop!!!!ahhhh help!!!:mad:

    You're actually supposed to grip the racquet loosely.

    you are relying on your thumb to make up for the lack of energy from your arm, shoulder and body. you could hurt your joint.
