depnds on many things, some of which are:

what you want to put in the mains and crosses
    what racquet you use
the string pattern of the racquet (open or tight)
if you play with heavy spin or flat
    how often you break strings
    what do you use now?

basically, the hurricane will lose tension before the gut. i've played gut and alu hybrid (with gut mains/alu cross and alu mains/gut cross) and found that the gut lasted fine but the alu lost tension faster so it felt "mushy" faster. hated cutting out gut when it was still good :(

if using gut mains, use syn gut cross instead - will hold tension better than poly cross.

if using poly mains, use syn gut cross again since most of the feel is coming from mains. why waste good $ on a git cross? up to you though.

the nct tour is light and stiff - sounds like a perfect racquet for gut - maybe a thicker gauge like 15L. you can pick up some bab tonic for a decent price. try it out and see.

what tension would you recommend? i really dont like the strings too tight because it feels like playing with a wooden board.
