I had no idea so many pros used extended length racquets.

    Thanks for sharing.

^^^Same, not counted them up but perhaps even a majority of them are over 27in. Some like Rochus use a 28in plus frame. Interesting, someone should start a TT poll about posters' frame sizes perhaps. Presumably the vast majority use 27s.

But the vast majority of the grand slam winners are using or used standard length rackets, Federer, Nadal, Sampras, Agassi, Becker, etc...

Was that strung? Some of them are quite low almost like it was unstrung or at least w/o overgrip

Nadal is playing stock - this goes against other evidence.

No it's an indoor ATP Tournament, infact the court is a Taraflex synthetic surface.

    Gasquet's racket is actually 27.5 inch, not 27inch (68.5cm).
Unstrung balance is closer to 11pts headlight, strung is around 8pts headlight. :)

Would I be right to assume that OHB players are purposely going down a size on their grip?

Well it makes sense. Kuerten used to use a grip 3 (with 2 tournagrips over the bare handle), so his grip was very small. I find with bigger grips, its very difficult to get enough wrist into the shot to generate angles particularly if your using a SW 1hbh grip. I also find my slice backhands are alot more penetrating. Of course, this is not the same for all players. I believe Dimitrov uses a grip 4/5 with overgrip!!.

    JC Ferrero racquet spec

Just wondering if JC Ferrero's racquet spec has changed when he retired? Or does it still remain the same? Could you provide more details if you have some? Also what was his grip size preference and overgrip? Thanks
