People who have played both frames, what are your thoughts on the differences between the two frames? Is losing string tension an issue with the 95s? Do the qualities of the 95s outshine the 95

Don't know about string tension loss, but I demoed both and ended up buying two 95's. (not 95s's-confusing! lets just say i bought the 16x19 version). The S version did have more spin and maybe a bit more power but I thought the non-S version had plenty of both already (i wasn't looking for power) and I wanted more predictability. I added silicone in the handles and lead to the hoops, strung them up with gut/poly hybrid and I haven't been this happy with my racquets in a long time. they weigh about 354g after all was said and done. about 9-10 pts HL. (i've mostly used prestiges, had gone back to the pro tour 280 before switching to the wilsons).

oh, and I'm a 4.0-4.5 guy that is approaching 40 and plays mostly doubles due to being overweight and having bad knees. I love serving with the pro staff 95; great slice and topspin on the serve. The racquet feels very 'whippy' to me too; this has really helped on the one-handed BH topspin. But slice is good too. I just feel very confident with this racquet. great control on everything and power is there when i want it. Good luck!
