Yeah the 6.1 Classic is definitely an important missing element from this poll.

Prostaff 6.1 with Hypercarbon 16x18. Immense frame; I dug one up a few weeks back, and as of last Tuesday I strung it up with full VS Team, put lead tape strips over the PWS, threw on a leather replacement grip, wrapped a new white pro overgrip on it and all of a sudden, waiting for my normal string to be shipped for my normal frames hasn't been all that bad! The thing plays amazing - I'm placing some of my bigger serves (110-ish) like never before and my volleys are first class. Simply incredible stuff.

there are many difference variation in PS85?? Pro Staff 85 St. Vincent, Taiwan, China.. and etc.. The poll will not be accurate if you group them as general PS85

    ^ Are you serious?!!?

You're going to decide what YOUR racquet will be based on what a bunch of strangers prefer?

    Mind boggling.

Discontinued racquets can be mighty hard to demo sometimes.

^ Regardless... basing your choice of racquet on the preferences of strangers brings you no closer to finding one that is right for you than does taking a wild guess.

Besides - why is he limiting himself to Pro Staffs only - especially if he doesn't know how they play? For the name? For the supposed 'prestige'?

These "What racquet should I buy?" threads make no sense.
Unfortunately, though, they are all over the boards these days.

Anything wrong with the 85 or 95 version? I have not played with the 85 version. The 95 version is pretty maneuverable at the net albeit the power is weak.

I'm bummed that all the "6.0 85s" get lumped together.

I think the Chicago - St. Vincent - Taiwanese - early Chinese - late Chinese are all different in their feel and playability. A 6.0 85 is a Chinese made one in my book.

My vote is "other" being the Taiwanese PS85 only because those are the ones with which I'm most familiar.
