    That's a really interesting list. Patty Shnyder was using Kirschbaum polyester in 1998, Kuerten using Luxilon Original in 1997. That means the poly era is now a decade old.

    wow nadal and federer are both stringing at 25 or around there i would never think about going anywhere near 40 and they are at 25 its crazy

    As it says at the top of the page some of the tensions listed are in lbs and some are in kgs which I know will lead to much confusion. One that stood out to me was Thomas Muster's HEAD Prestige Pro strung with IsoSpeed at a whopping 81.5 lbs--that guy was an animal. At that tension I wonder if the the 1/2 lb really made a difference.

    Apart from some Belgian players Kuerten was the first to put the Luxilon on the ATP circuit, the rest is history...

    It is funny, you see all those mid 50s to mid 60s tension ranges then POP! Marcelo Rios and Pete Sampras in mid the 70s.
