I recently broke my pro tour 280 (austrain made, no capped grommet) and need a replacement

I wonder if the Ti Pro Tour and Ti Classic play similiarly.

Also, I would like to know if the Ti Pro Tour and Ti Classic are basically the same racquet with different paint job, since the mold is the same, just whatever is blue on the TPT, is red on the TC

Anyone played with the three sticks please comment

appreciated

The Ti.Classic was lighter and considerably stiffer than the PT 280, and doesn't play anything like it. Not sure about the Ti Pro Tour but heard somewhere that it was a European version of the same thing.

If you liked the 280, why not try to find another one? They come up for sale fairly often on the net, or you could post a wanted listing.

You also might find one of the Dunlop 200g models similar -- it's flexible, and has a tight pattern. There's a Revelation 200g on the For Sale board right now. Another flexy current frame with 18 mains is the ProKennex Heritage C MP. And the Volkl Tour 10 has similar specs and was reduced to $99 but it has 16 mains.
