I wasn't generating much spin on my 2nd even though I was using a backhand grip and hitting up on the ball so I tried pronating more and voila, more spin. I can't wait to try it on my opponents.

I've read in past posts that Bungalo Bill doesn't believe in forced pronation and that it should occur naturally, but I happen to be one of those guys who didn't pronate much at all unless I consciously did it. I certainly don't pronate as much as Sampras did, even when I purposely do it, but if I don't think about it, my face is pointing toward the ground and not toward the court to my right.

But it has not been so easy to really master the art of pronation
(without help of a pro). I've been pronating too forward for years.
Pronating should be done more outward and upward.
It may sounds strange but the axis of pronation matters (with
respect to swing direction). I wasted many years until one couch
    pointed me out.
