Just have to smile at what an epic thread Gino opened back then.I was one of the first ones to add a player eight years ago. What a drama has emerged from this?I never watched Jiri Lehecka until today.Quite impressive what this sword can do.

Hard Hitter(in fact one of the hardest forehands ever) and Grand Slam Cup Champion Magnus Larsson used a 6.1 Classic

Former No.4
Nicolas Kiefer

I thank you my friend for your interest and contributing, pretty much since the thread started !! Appreciate you ! Lehecka has exceptional talent, the perfect modern 6.1 player the way his mechanics work through the contact zone. Relatively flat / penetrating groundies that can push the best defenders on tour, I wish him great success

@gino
I like what you are doing with with the list, I had previously thought about different ways it could be organized. Totally up to you, I don't mean to create work for you, its a great thread as-is

  • Sorting by career highest rank is the easiest way I could think to float the names people know to the top. The question then would be is the ranking listed their highest with the 6.1 or personal best. Maybe color could indicate when the career high was achieved with a 6.1

  • My most far fetched idea is to have a total prize money won with a 6.1 - if we had a confirmed date range a player used the 6.1 then sum the prizes of those tournaments. Easy for someone who never switched, the ones who did would be horrendous. With just Corretja, del Potro, Lindstedt, Nestor, Bjorkman and Mirnyi the sum is $68.5 million.
I think I'm going to run through Junior slams, would you like a list of the juniors I can find that won with a 6.1?

Whenever we mention the origins of this thread I have to shout out @moon shot for all the great enhancement ideas & @Seth for all the incredible contribution

Documenting legendary frame history as accurately as possible is what the boards were originally intended for… something @dr325i & @vsbabolat have been doing for many years. Happy to have some informative contributions laying around this pocket of the internet
