    Anyone tried this?

Would like to hear your thoughts on this or any of the other PP multi's.

Gut Power is very soft and has good feel. The 1.40mm lasted me 5 hours, which, for me, is very good for a multi.

Thanks BigT, can you remember what the tension maintenance was like? Also I'm not much of a string breaker anymore so would you recommend the 1.40 or 1.30?

Tension maintenance was normal for a multi. 1.30 should be fine.

Cool thanks. at 36 euros for a reel it's a bargin!
Have you tried Hotstuff or Kingut?

Yes, have tried both. Gut Power is the more durable of the three. Kingut is extremely soft and elastic. Starts out at 1.25mm, but when stretched, probably goes less than 1.20. Excellent feel and spin if you're not a string breaker. Otherwise, would probably work nice as a cross.

Hmmm maybe I'll get a couple of sets of each rather than a reel.
    Decisions decisions.
    Thanks BigT

It's always a good idea to test a set or two before buying a reel, if possible.

I never understand why string companies use the word " gut" in anything BUT gut strings. It doesn't make sense to me when normally NONE of them really play, feel or last like true gut strings.

I tried pro's pro gut power, hitech multi, kingut, gutex ultra. I am trial period right now. Gut power is same as Pulse. At first, I thought they sent me wrong string but they said it is same. they just changed the name. Gut power doesn't come with 1.30mm. It has all 1.40mm. It is thick and hard but actually when you play it feels quite soft. I am planing to order all of them again to test before to order reels

Just got a reel of 1.30. Looks nice.
I expect that it will be a good seller for my non-stringbreakers who want some power and comfort at a good price.
I also look forward to trying it as a cross with Pure Power.

Very easy to string, quite elastic, and no ghosting. I don't play, myself, so I await feedback

Big T. What would you suggest that would play similar to a low powered spin poly main and a syn/multi cross.

    e.g B5E/N.Vy or B5E/THB

^^ Lethal 5 and 8 are low powered. Spinox even more so.

Many choices for crosses. Cyclone, Torpedo or Kingut as far as spin goes.

I am interested in the differences between hitec multi and gut power.
Have you already tested both and can compare them? Which one would you prefer?
    Regards

Gut Power is more powerful and lasts longer.
Hitec Multifiber is softer and has some more spin.

I just strung up GutPower 1.30 @65 in a vintage Pro Kennex Blue Ace.
Man that racquet has a tiny sweetspot!

It depends what you are looking for. Cyber Power is quite soft to begin with.

I am searching a multi that gives the cyber power more power and a bit more feel!

Most multis will give you more feel than poly. I would try Gut Power, Torpedo, or Kingut.

I have only played with the white. If there are any differences, I am sure they are not too noticeable.
The Nano Cyber Power is different however. More crisp.
