Maybe u're just used to use a normally light racquet.
I like to train, hitting a wall and volleying with a wooden Head Vilas, wich is normally 14 oz... but with iron-weights, and lead tape, it's up to 18 oz...

It's not that heavy anyways, if u're used to it...

As written in the first post the specs were taken at the French Open 2005 by the stringing service. I got the complete file.

So most of these pro's are leading the head, right? Do they counterweight it in the butt at all? They must have to to keep a high head-light balance right?

    Malisse, Xavier (BEL ) 3 315 31.4 71.5 BABOLAT FIBERTOUR 1.30 29/29

Dang his racquet seems pretty light at 315 grams. I realize thats unstrung so he must do a lot of customizing to his.

It might have something to do with the length of his racquet. 71.5 cm is longer than 28 inches!

His setup is similar to Nadal's, but with lower swingweight and higher tension.

. . . and 3 cm longer and a thin clasic beam, mulitifbre string not poly, . . . - sorry, but th rackets of Nadl und Malisse don't have much to do with each other. Ok, the play the same game called tennis - but that's nearly all ;-)

Sorry, but will probably not attempt the FO this year. Also they don't check the specs every year. So I can't really say . . .
But whenever I attempt a tournament and I have the time I will check some specs and update the specs.

Great post, anything on Safin? I've got one of his frames(LM pj) on pro stock prestige classic 600 with brown collar, never setup for him, but I would love to do that and see how it feels.

I've seen Robredo and Andreev racquets in Metz tournament last week :

Robredo : PJ of an old Dunlop (not the Mfil nor the aerogel) with full poly job in Luxilon Big ace original 1.30. Tension : 51/52 lbs

Andreev : an old Babolat PD with Cortex PJ. Full poly job in Luxilon Big Ace Original 1.30. Tension 53 lbs.

The man from tecnifibre told me that he strung Oliver Marach racquet (prince O3 tour) at 75 Lbs with Luxilon BB alu...what a board !

i have no idea who gave you that info but it is off. firstly, robredo uses a much older version of the mold of the revelation tour pro strung with luxilon bb original which is what he has been using for years, not ace. andreev i've heard uses babolat polys, not luxilon but i can't vouch for him as i can for robredo.

Robredo and Andreev both use Luxilon Big Banger Original, which is what he meant I think since there is no Big Ace Original.

Somebody told me that the left one's name is Leander Paes and he is a good tennis player. Did you hear the name before? But I think I will change the pic because nobody seems to know him.

Edit: Changed it now. Did you see this girl before?
