By signature shots, I don't mean the best shot, but I mean the shot everyone can identify a player with.

I can think of these so far.

    Federer-Backhand flick passing shot
    Sampras-Running Forehand
    Safin-Jumping Backhand

Sampras's would probably be the jumping overhead. Lots of players have running backhands but no one quite hits their overhead like that.
There's the Nadal forehand (of course).

No matter how many times I see that shot being hit, I am always in awe of it.

Federer inside in forehand obviously. No one will run around balls like he does.

Federer's scissors- jump on the forehand. Beautiful motion.
His overhead sliced smash lob ( lol )

    Djokovic's DTL backhand.

    Santoro's ... everything.

Federer-backhand flick is the best, but does he really have just one? I think his backhand slice is pretty sick as well. Or his backhand slice defensive lob. Or maybe his backhand smash. Or his drop shot return of serve.
Nadal-double handed top spin backhand passing shot
    Hewitt-lob
    Roddick-flat serve
Sampras-dunk smash or backhand down the line
    Safin-Jumping Backhand
    Gonzalez-Forehand
    Blake- Forehand
    Nalbandian-two-handed backhand down-the-line
    Krajicek- Serve
    Ivanisevic-Serve
    Henman-volley
    Agassi-return winner

nadals forehand is easily recognizable. mostly because the racquet swing goes around his head alot

Nobody has a signature shot because Santoro has done them all.

I think another one of Fed's signature shots is the fadeaway inside out forehand.

Federer-Baseline half-volley sharply angled Flick backhand pass.(It's amazing how many times I've seen him pull this shot off)

Nadal - Outside the doubles alley passing shots off either side.

Murray - I think of a backhand that never. ever. seems to miss (or 20 other shots that aren't all the same ,but require the same incredible feel and timing, and would mostly be considered touch shots)

Roddick - The explosive 1st serve (esp. Down the middle)

Novak - His service motion sticks out to me (I really feel like he doesn't have a signature shot,as much as a really solid all round game)

Potro - Lanky, flat forehands at the speed of sound.
