Anyone knows about this racquet. It was endorsed by Jim Courier or he used ps85 paint job ? I got it from e-***.com and strung with Klip nat gut + synthetic gut at 55/55 lbs. It's worth to keep in my collection?
    Thanks everyone,
    Yuth

it's definitely a piece of tennis history and has spot in any collection. word is that courier used it for only a very short time because some wags on the tour were labeling him "captain america." i think he went to playing with a blacked out ps85 after that. in 2007 he was playing with the retail version of the n6.1 tour 90 determined by examination of a racket he busted up and gave to a kid sitting near me).

the actual psc tour classic 6.6 racquet he used did not have a glossy finish but the same specs. it was not a ps85 pj. i was fortunate enough to get one from a wilson rep through my wilson dealer.

    btw - nice pics

The ps66 S&S model, is not a bad racket but rather a very good players racket, as was the ps61, just that Currier and Edberg did not really use ps 6.6 and 6.1 respectively but rather ps60 85 paint jobs "Picassos".

Thanks everybody. Actually, I love ps6.0 than 6.6 in term of feeling, but love 6.6's paint job.

ps: Hi ericsson, I come from Thailand.:)

    Hi Yuth,
thanks for the Ultra 2 (st. vincent), it plays great, I like the simple feel of the stars and stripes (hint, hint), I have 1 and would looove 2...maybe we should trade again. ???? Seems like Courier was embarrassed to use the 6.6 because of the pj. I am secure in my love of the world and lack of prejudice toward nations, (something that rubbed off on me from Racquetfreak) but I also find the pj of the 6.6 (like courier) to be gaudy at best. The fact that it was manufactured in China with a USA flag pj....no comment.....like Anna, it's the performance that keeps me coming back, not the looks...

Anna knew that I didn't discriminate against her horrible Russian-English, I thought it was cute, we were in paradise until Serena moved in, I thought it would equal more love but Serena just brought vengance and jealousy into the household. The fact that it was a 1 bedroom apartment didn't help...

    Hi Plasma,
Eventually, I still wait for your racquets. I do want to deal with you again. You know what I want. Anyway I love 6.6 pj and 6.1 (85) too. I think both of them were made in Taiwan right?
