    Hi,
Is there supposed to be a glue like protective coating on the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick frame? It's brand new but the glue like protective coat seems starting peeling off here and there. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Somebody else on a different thread was talking about this. Someone with a PD roddick was saying his pj was going, while everyone else was saying babolat has good paint jobs. I'm interested in this because I'm demoing them. The thread isn't very old so look a page or to back.

Sorry misunderstanding, I don't have my demos yet, I should've said "I will be demoing them". My fault.

The thread I was talking about is the Babolat warranty thread at the bottom of this page. Kchau says his matte finish is rubbing off.

yeah, after a hard shank, the matte coating will rub off revealing a shiny coating under it.

Does the shiny coat hold up? Or does it go quickly too?

I have been playing with it for few days now and the shiny paint seems to hold up very well. The only thing is that matte or whatever it's called, starts bubbling and coming off here and there. Is it supposed to be like that? or only the fake one has that problem???
