    Larger shoe with pads

I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis a few years ago.
I could not walk for 5 minutes in the morning or after sitting watching TV for more than an hour.
I tried everything from custom orthotics to holding the foot erect while sleeping with an aide device.
Then I thought what might make my feet happy is a soft cushion under it so I bought several Dr Schols pads.
But I could only put one or two inside before I would not be able to put the shoe on.
So I bought tennis shoes that are/were 2 sizes too large.
Now I have 3 pads in there and have never had a problem since.
It took a week or two to get used to the large shoe, but after a while I forgot all about it.

Maybe this will work for you ?
Good luck. It is an annoying and painful problem, I know.
